I can't even imagine worrying about a snow day right now! I'm in south TX, and temps are still in the 70s/80s in the afternoons.

I live in central IL and it was 76 degrees, sunny and beautiful!

NO SNOW!!!

It's mid-November, I live in Maine, and I walked outside without a jacket on this morning. Temps are in the mid 50s, which is practically shorts weather up here. I'm not complaining!! But I know our time is coming.

I love snow days, but not too many. Early release days are good because if we can get lunch in, it counts as a full day. Our first lunch starts at 10:20, so they can usually do bag lunches for everyone and dismiss at 11 am. Woot!!!

Down here our winters are mild, however one year we woke up to a pretty good coverage of snow on the ground. Snow is so rare here one time when my kids were smaller, we pulled over on our way back to Texas so they could see the joy of catching snow flakes on their tongue. Our snow days are really ice days and then those turn out to be days off once the sun comes out and melts the ice on the roads.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!!!! Be safe on the roads and enjoy family and friends.
