Would this shirt get me into trouble in class?

I saw this and thought it was awesome... Do you think I could get into trouble by wearing this to school? We are able to wear t-shirt's on Mondays now that we are in our second semester. I don't want someone to take offense and cause an issue...

If it were me, I would pass on wearing it to class. While it might not "get you in trouble," it is likely that someone is going to find it offensive.

You should also consider this. If you have to ask is "something is okay" or question whether doing something is "going to get you in trouble" you should probably pass.

Best wishes with your education.

We all have different beliefs. I don't think some would appreciate me wearing a God does not exist shirt, so I don't. Wear it on your free time.

No. But it’s certain to get you some eye rolls.

Just don't.

Offense itself probably isn't the issue but rather just people being unimpressed with the entirety of it. But then I think all apparel and junk with nursing slogans are tacky and this takes it up a number of notches. JMO. ?

A "kick me" sign taped on the center of your forehead would be less obnoxious and more intelligent-looking. Hard pass on the t-shirt.

Lots of people are going to find that one offensive. I'd pass on wearing it to school.

The fact that you are asking the question proves you that you know it’s not a good idea...

I honestly don't find the shirt offensive at all neither do I find it arrogant. You have the right to your religious views and in fact you're protected by the constitution. However for the sake of PC and the fact you're still in school, I would refrain from wearing it out and proud (I guess) but once you're out of school you get to make the determination.

You are very brave for stating your conviction. If you are living in a bible belt, I think you may want to reconsider your choice of wearing the shirt.

Search around this forum and you can see how easily Christian nurses have a persecution mentality. Since you are in school, your safety and success should be a priority for you.

Whatever decision you make, I wish you happiness and success.

I think in general when you're not completely familiar with the personalities in any group, including when you start a job, to avoid things containing a strong opinion or position on anything you even suspect might be controversial.

I don't think it means someone is wishy-washy or not wholly committed to the sentiment displayed there. I'd call it "enlightened self-interest" to avoid the potential of offending anyone right out of the gate when it's perfectly avoidable.

This concept comes up when people think they must be true to their chosen fashion choices when going to an interview. If you want to maximize your chances, you can change out of the boring clothes when you get home.

I think it's a cute shirt! It's wonderful that you have faith & won't be shamed into hiding it. Unfortunately, I wouldn't wear it to class d/t a lack of tolerance for Judaic Christian beliefs- nursing school can be stressful enough. BUT I'd wear it as much as you like outside of school!!!
