Would this shirt get me into trouble in class?

Published

I saw this and thought it was awesome... Do you think I could get into trouble by wearing this to school? We are able to wear t-shirt's on Mondays now that we are in our second semester. I don't want someone to take offense and cause an issue...

The religious part would be an issue

Wow, a lot of don't do it's.

You did say wear it to CLASS, not where it to WORK?

I assume you are in a voluntary class, you are paying for it or got your own grants and loans to attend? It's something you are doing as a personal thing for yourself and to help others?

First, check the dress codes that may answer it there.

If it's not there, then go for it. If for some reason someone in charge of the class finds it's offensive and in some way makes you pay for it by failing your or whatever, it's probably not the class you want to be in or an instructor you want to learn from.

T Shirt is fine. If your classmates don't like it, who cares. They can wear whatever they want as well.

If it were work, I'd agree. It's not really appropriate attire for a nurse to wear to work anyway. Most of us wear scrubs or business casual depending on our roles.

It won't let me view it, but why put yourself in a questionable situation to begin with...

With regard to promoting one's spiritual philosophy, whatever flavor that may be .... it's so much better to live it in such a way that people ask where you get your mojo. That is never offensive but tee shirts can be.

I can't view the shirt but I personally would avoid anything that would advertise my personal beliefs (religious, political, or otherwise). I want to be known for my work ethic and competency, above all. Especially when dealing with residents/patients (not sure if this is clinicals) I refuse to discuss anything that may offend them. I'm there to help them, not express my convictions.

Why possibly get yourself into trouble or become the target of someone else's animosity? People can be difficult enough without giving them a reason ?.

Best of luck, OP!
