Okay, it's getting down to crunch time!!! I am starting to *think* plan B. I still have to wait until the first part of May before I get any news. If I don't get in, I will need to bust my rear to get more pre req's in this summer for another program starting in Jan'07...
Who else is still waiting for fall 06...and do you have a plan B????
Good luck my fellow future nurses;)
Hey guys/gals:
I just finished my last pre-requisite class and I'm applying for the fall semester. The due date for applications is May 15, but I know that it will take about 4 weeks to find out or so. I plan on spending my month waiting with my work (because I just started my job a month ago) and with my husband and daughter at the beach. It is already beautiful here in Florida. I just hope that's enough to distract me from my obsession of checking the mail. And can you believe this, I already have a bachelor's degree but I have to take a reading test to apply for nursing school. Cracks me up. Anyhow, can an of you advise me what you will be doing while waiting on 'THE LETTER'.

Unfortunately, with our school, when they send the NET test results and you pass, they specifically state to NOT contact them until the end of May regarding admission to the nursing program. I do hope that some of your schools will allow this. I really wish ours would.P.S. I am appling to GPC in Clarkston, GA
OMG....I'm trying to get into Lawrenceville! You KNOW they have to already know who's in. I got one of those letters too with my NET. Although I did email the Lawrenceville admissions, and they said it would be the end of this week for letters. She wouldn't go into any detail as to if I had a chance to get in! :angryfire
GOOD LUCK Westheat and let me know ASAP when you get anything!
My application was finally put in today. I had to wait until grades came out to apply. Now I have to wait until July to find out if I get in. :uhoh3: I thought I would know in June but they said July. My cousin, who also applied today, said that they're expecting 400 people to apply for only 130 slots. I hope we're two of those seats. Pray for us you guys we need it.
I got my "alternative List" letter a week ago. Thus, I'm still waiting "The" letter. I've been insane checking the mail boxes or afraid of missing any call. As long as one person drops, I should be good to go..I decided to take some courses in summer so I can kill some time. Maybe time will pass faster that way.
