Who's still waiting on "THE LETTER"

I've been wating since Feb 1 and may not hear anything until the end of April. The stress is starting to get to me. My skin is horribly broken out, I'm irritable, and I feel sad every day that the mail comes without The Letter. I can't seem to learn anything right now. After being at the top of my class all semester, I suddenly feel lost in A & P. And I'm eating like a pig.

Anybody else feeling like this?

Registration has started at my school too. It would be nice to know if I am going to nursing school this fall of if I'll be starting the prereqs for the bachelors. Those classes fill up fast.

i am sort of waiting but not really yet. we have to finish our term and have our marks submitted and all other components of our applications before they will review them (deadline may 1st, i believe). we should hear sometime in may or early june at the latest.

orientation is the beginning of july and the term will start in september. i am so pumped to have the first year almost out of the way. it was hard work and i know it will get harder but i don't mind. i do have moments of wondering why i'm going through this, though (esp. right before an exam lol).

one of our prereqs is a nutrition course which is offered to us only through distance ed and there are people scrambling like crazy to get it completed!! i finished it last month and for that i am truly, truly grateful!

Got a call on Friday that I did not get in to the Accelerated BSN program. But still being considered for the regular 3 year BSN program. She said my app looked good with the number of points I have. But I have to wait until May until I hear from them.

That is so strange that they called you on the phone. Heck, I think it is great that your app looks good for the BSN program. You should be really proud of yourself...I hope that you are!

I am STILL waiting! :angryfire I just can't stand it!!!! Why do they make us wait so long????? It is just plain mean!!! :nono: Hopefully I will hear something before the end of April - is anyone else waiting for their letter from an eastern NC community college? I am waiting on Johnston Community College.

Heard from a friend that took anatomy with me that they were mailing out the letters yesterday. Another girl that was in that class with us said that she saw them stuffing the envelopes when she stopped by the nursing office...... :beer:

Still waiting as well, won't know for 6-8 weeks. Trying not to think about it too much. Anyway, I have A/P I to keep me busy, that should be diversion enough!!

It seems as though everyone has received their acceptance letters (Congrats to all who did!), I feel like I am the only one STILL waiting for the letter. I called my school and they said by the end of April, I know that is this week - but everyday I am stalking my mailman and disappointed when the letter is not there. Who else out there is still waiting?? Is the wait making your head spin too???!!! Good luck to everyone - here's hoping that everyone gets their acceptance letter soon!!!
