After today is done, I have 8 more days till school is done. Trying to catch up on some documenting and organizing my office for next year. Curious, do you undo your entire office for maintenance crews to clean during summer?

I'm still here! Last day with the kids is Thursday and then I have to work on Friday to close my offices.

At my middle school we have to label all of our furniture for the custodians to put into storage for the summer because they clean and wax our tile flooring during the summer time. They hold summer school for the little kids at my elementary school and a nurse is here so we just have to make sure all of our medication is sent home and all of our paperwork is finished and filed.

Since I'm leaving the district I have to pack up all of my personal stuff which isn't much so I don't anticipate needing to work too long on Friday although I'm technically supposed to put in a full 8 hours.

We are finished on Wednesday! I am trying to pack away what I can but our summer school is at my school so it's not a complete pack-up. Hard to get anything done ahead of time with the dozens of bug bite visits we are seeing today :sarcastic: but the end is in sight! I am working at a different summer school during the summer but just 4 hrs/day and 4 days/week!!

I am not finished until next Wednesday! I volunteered to teach CPR so I will be left with one day to pack up and clean up without students. They claim to clean and paint the walls and strip and wax the floors while we are gone for the summer but there are holes in my paint from when the previous nurse took her stuff down so...yeah. I still stripped all my pretty stuff off the walls one day a couple of weeks ago because it was quiet and I didn't want to waste my chance. I might re-arrange my furniture in August anyway. I like to switch things up!

Anyhoo, two full days, three half days, and two non-student days left!

I'm finished on the 27th. I suspect it will only be a few of us in the Northeast by then...

Today and tomorrow then we're done! Last year we had to take everything down for painting, but they never got around to painting our clinic. I lock up anything that might grow legs over the summer, but other than that, pretty much leave it as it sits now.

I am here until 6/21

I don't do anything special to my office, just put away and lock up stuff I don't want lost or stolen! Cleaning crews come in and (supposedly) take all the furniture out, do the floors and put it back. I come in one day at the end of summer and check things out and see how it is and what I need.
