After today is done, I have 8 more days till school is done. Trying to catch up on some documenting and organizing my office for next year. Curious, do you undo your entire office for maintenance crews to clean during summer?
I'm still hanging around checking the boards, but I'm doing it from my couch in my tshirt and shorts! We've been out a couple weeks now. As for my office, I had to pack it all up at the end of they year because I am moving to a new office this fall, so boxes and totes are everywhere with "nurse" labels on everything from my chairs to my garbage cans!
The kids are done the 23rd and staff have the 26th for year end stuff.. I am completely clueless as to what I have to pack up. The office is used for summer school so I plan to pack up all my own personal stuff. I could use a good week without students to finish all the stuff I have pending.... guess there's always next year. Lol
Update!
I had an interview earlier this week at an eye center. It was a circulating OR position for glaucoma surgeries, retina procedures, etc. It is M-F, no weekends or holidays but also no overtime. You stay until the procedures are done. Some days you are there 7a-8p and it's just straight pay. It's also an hour away.
No thanks.
I have 2 more interviews coming up next week and a multitude of applications sent out into the world. Trying my best to avoid going back to the hospital full time but I do have that option if all else fails. Just missing my school nurse friends and wanted to make like a horse and say HAYYYYY.
Today is my last day. WOOT!!! Students officially were done on Tuesday. Teachers (and me because I am on a teacher's contract) are here until today. The superintendent was nice enough to give us 2 days off at the end of the year or else we would have been here until MONDAY. Ugh.
I'm still here until next TUESDAY.
And I got to call 911 last Friday. It has been a long year.
