The print ones can easily be worn shopping, do lawn work, maybe do grocery shopping. However, what in the world do you do with those smiley face scrubs that were all the rage a few years ago, those Minnie Mouse sets you just couldn't live without, the cutesy scrubs that work at work but can't make it even at WalMart? Well....there's always the Goodwill donation center. What do you do with all your old scrubs?

I am wearing them til they get super worn, cause scrubs are expensive

I usually wear them out or if I don't like how they fit for awhile (like how I haven't lost all of my baby weight..lol) I give them to other (smaller) co-workers that I know can't afford to buy new scrubs. I have sold a few on Ebay when I received them as gifts and couldn't wear them. I'm not one to buy new ones all of the time. They are too darn expensive!

Ones I don't like anymore, have become worn/faded, etc...I use them as bum around clothes (when I have no intention to leave the house..my goal for the day is to become one with the couch). I also use them to clean the house..so tired of ruining good clothing with bleach and chemicals that get on them and stain them. Others I use as pajamas.

I see our work clothes as cheap, especially compared to our peers who have dry-cleaning bills to keep their expensive work clothes looking good, or those in industries where personal presentation(manicures, fashionable clothes) account for more.

Since my faded, worn scrubs are "work clothes" I wear them to work in the yard or in household projects. When they become really paint-stained, they get thrown out.

When they're too faded to wear to work, they are decommissioned.

They then begin their new lives as all purpose at home clothes. I use them for PJs, then just roll out of bed ready for the day.

I use my old scrub pants as pajama/lounge pants.

Treat 'em like my old favorite jeans: hang 'em in the closet and keep telling myself I will get back in 'em one day.

Well....there's always the Goodwill donation center.
Bingo! I donated a large bag full of older scrub tops and bottoms to my local Goodwill donation center last year. I simply was not wearing the print scrubs from years past, so it was time to get rid of them and start fresh.

I haven't worn mine out my first pairs that I bought a year ago. I've actually gone and bought some solid color scrub tops at Goodwill, just to have some variety, and as backup scrubs I can keep at work for emergencies (body fluids, mandate, etc.).

I like that idea, get rid of them and have an excuse to buy new ones to take their place!

I have scrubs in my closet that I've been wearing for 15 years or more. They just seem not to wear out... and they still fit! I've bagged up some that were too big or the wrong colour and donated them to Goodwill, but I'll keep wearing the ones I have now until I retire. I work with kids so the cartoon prints will never go out of style.
