What do you do for principal's day?

This is my first year as a school nurse, so not sure what to do for principal's day? I have an elem and middle school principal. The elementary principal has jumped through hoops for me, and is basically the reason the district created my position.

A card with well wishes. (Not a 'principals day card', I just have blank ones with nice pictures on the front that I use for whatever). I figure once I'm higher on the payscale I can do fun stuff like put a gift card in it.

We did principal/AP day a couple of weeks ago. I am part of the "office team" so we did a basket of their favorite snacks/treats etc - everyone on the office team contributed what they felt comfortable with. We also provided a light breakfast one day - fruit, yogurt, granola, coffee etc. I spent about $20 between the favorite snacks and bringing yogurt for the breakfast.

I didn't know there was a principal's day..... If we do anything, I'm sure the office handles it.

Nothing. Ditto on nobody doing anything for Nurse's day around here...especially since it lands during "Teacher Appreciation Week."

I think it is actually in the fall....we recognized our principal at RJJ's school with some flowers. But the comment about "nothing because they do nothing for us" does resonate in my mind...

We do something as an entire school. Usually some sort of combined gift or lunch.

I'll avoid mine like they have measles because all they really seem to want from me is to leave them alone and not try to talk to them about concerns ?
