What date do you start Nursing school?

When do you start school ( date)? Are you planning to buy anything that could help you in nursing school, if so, what? I just want to buy a voice recorder.

Fall semster starts August 25th. I am not looking forward to it---I need more vacation time.

I start August 30th and I'm freaking out too! My clinicals are the FIRST 6 WEEKS! ahhh I'm nervous but SOO excited! I already bought scrubs, a stethoscope, nursing sneakers, all 17 books, my syllabus (yes it was $4.50), my labkit (another $115), ($20).. I still have to buy actual school supplies and I, too, plan to purchase a voice recorder.

I still have to buy actual school supplies and I, too, plan to purchase a voice recorder.

Our lab kit was $90. I'm told by previous students that only a couple of things out of it even got used!

Our insurance was $16. I'm surprised because that is LESS than I paid for CNA insurance.

We start on the 23rd of August. I think I have everything except the roller backpack. Our insurance was 10.00 ( I guess they think we won't have much opportunity to really hurt someone) :)

I start Aug 23rd! Just 3 days away..I cant wait!!! I have gotten a lot of school supplies..I got an itouch..new desk and created a relaxing study space! I have gotten my uniforms and stethoscope..and have been working on medical terminology and dosage calc all summer..also have been learning vital signs! sooo excited

I start the 24th, it better not be 4 days away. Today is only Monday the 16th, I have 4 more days off until I work the weekend then another day off before school starts. Please don't take those days away from me. :jester:

I start my final semester on Sept. 8 and end on Dec 23, cutting sooo close to the holidays. Thank God it is my final semester:yeah:
