What date do you start Nursing school?

When do you start school ( date)? Are you planning to buy anything that could help you in nursing school, if so, what? I just want to buy a voice recorder.

Fall semster starts August 25th. I am not looking forward to it---I need more vacation time.

I start in January. I'm not sure what day yet as our registration period isn't until October! I hate not being able to plan my schedule. I do get my CPR certificate in Sept. though.. I like to always be working on something.. keeps me motivated!:)

This is for the Rivier ASRN evening program. We have a general orientation Tuesday September 7th and a lab orientation on Wednesday September 8th. I'm not sure what day we officially start classes because Thursday night is the time slot listed for clinicals and typicly they don't just throw you right into a hospital setting. So class could technically start the week after ... we are still waiting to hear where we will have clinicals.

We start Orientation on August 30-September 1 and then start Nursing School on September 2nd, but I have other classes that start on August 30th

pass/fail drug calc the first night... talk about pressure! :)

BTW.. Ipod touch.. best thing ever, saved my back from carrying those books and the ATI app is nice.

I start on Monday, we had orientation back in July. I believe that we have a pass/fail drug calculations test in our first week, too. I'm really excited to begin, but also very nervous! I'm really glad that there are so many others out there who are going through the same stuff right now.

Today is also the day for me. We had orientation on Thursday but today is the first day of actual classes!

I just got out of my first and only class of the day...not much to talk about though. Today was the usual "get to know everything" first day. Clinical tomorrow though (but of course, it'll just be a hospital orientation)!
