I came across this is little story today, it's not breaking news. I suspect that a member of the housekeeping staff knows something about the bomb threat that required the sweep for weapons.

QuoteAccording to police in Secaucus, the bomb threat — which later was determined to be bogus — was called in to Hudson Regional Hospital on July 18. During a search, bomb detection dogs led investigators to an unlocked office closet containing dozens of firearms.
Among the weapons were 11 handguns and 27 rifles or shotguns, according to police. The closet also contained a .45 caliber semi-automatic rifle with a high-capacity magazine that was determined to be an assault rifle, and a 14-round high-capacity handgun magazine.
The arrested the guy the next day.
What the heck do you think this guy was doing? It sounds very ominous that he was keeping those weapons there.

I gave up wondering. For some reason, and I don't know why, most Republicans seem content with where the party is headed.
As I don't forsee a viable third party anytime soon I too have changed my party affiliation to unaffiliated.

I left a while back. I'm independent. To me, both parties have their share of issues, it's going through each candidate and taking the time to educate myself about who gets my vote

Well apparently neither of you bothered to read the articles I posted so here are a few more with stats embedded in them.

As you can see it was liberal/Democrat policies that hurt black slaves then and their bad policies continue to the present. And if you will notice some of these are a bit older and the situation has only deteriorated since.
OK, I have answered you twice now. Your turn, show us how the Democrats have really helped the black as well as other poor communities, not to mention the ones that we're not poor to begin with but have become poor bc of those bad Democrat policies.
Edited to add, yes yes I know these articles are not from the liberal MSM.
Per this article from NBC, Washington state schools ranked 23rd overall, and 14th in Quality.
Seattle has for decades, been ranked as one of the most educated big cities.
Homelessness is more a factor of lack of housing than democratic policies. The average cost of a house in the Seattle area is >$440,000, almost double of the national average. This is capitalism, not a democratic policy.
And for what it's worth, I do look at articles posted, but when they are mainly opinion pieces without substantiated sources, I find them less credible.

I don't think anyone here said Democratic policies have helped the poor. I don't have anything to defend. Ball's in your court and those web sites are just the opinions of non-thinkers. Since when do these people care about poor people, especially poor POC or women? They are just blaming people who don't agree with them and liberal bashing. The last person in Congress to know anything about poverty was Daniel Moynihan. I could be wrong but I sense that these authors live quite nicely in suburban enclaves.

I missed your citations because you've been on my ignore list for quite sometime. I de-activate the list from time to time to see if the conversation has improved. My mistake.
