I came across this is little story today, it's not breaking news. I suspect that a member of the housekeeping staff knows something about the bomb threat that required the sweep for weapons.
According to police in Secaucus, the bomb threat — which later was determined to be bogus — was called in to Hudson Regional Hospital on July 18. During a search, bomb detection dogs led investigators to an unlocked office closet containing dozens of firearms.
Among the weapons were 11 handguns and 27 rifles or shotguns, according to police. The closet also contained a .45 caliber semi-automatic rifle with a high-capacity magazine that was determined to be an assault rifle, and a 14-round high-capacity handgun magazine.
The arrested the guy the next day.
What the heck do you think this guy was doing? It sounds very ominous that he was keeping those weapons there.

I'm wondering if you believe that the documents secreted away at Mara Lago were planted by the FBI, declassified, the personal possessions of Trump or simply keepsakes? Trump had described them in each of those ways... which is contradictory and sounds desperate.
When Trump says things like this "“When is the FBI going to raid the many homes of Joe Biden, perhaps even the White House?” are you embarrassed for him? I am. The fellow sounds like a kid caught by his parents breaking rules.
Did you know that Trump's attorneys can't claim in a courtroom that the Florida Trump resort was raided because that is a misrepresentation of reality. But Trump is a proficient and habitual liar who lies with impunity about FBI raids, government documents, election security and results, pandemics, Media stars, weather maps, health care legislation, Putin's propaganda, border policy, his finances, his assets... so he calls the execution of a legal warrant a raid. Trump really wants you to see him as a victim. In reality, he's a victim of his own dishonesty and corruption.
From another angle...I worked as a government contractor with a security clearance. I'm concerned that there is so little monitoring of classified documents which are handed to politicians. There's no place for an honor system where there are so many politicians demonstrating so little honor.

As president, Trump had the authority to declassified the documents that he took, as has every other president. Biden wasn't president at the time the documents that were discovered in his possession were taken, which makes it very concerning. Leads into this:

There Is a difference. The Republicans are more comfortable with their wackos. I'm sure that I am one of tens of millions of Democrats who hope this latest Biden stupidity means the political end of Biden.

This is so true (except I wouldn't use the word "leaders" for these people). If we the people don't wake up and stop fighting each other but instead hold the people in charge accountable we are all going to pay the price. The elites only care about the elites!

Which is why the first tranche was turned over to the National Archives/DOJ when discovered, and the White House has been cooperative with the entire investigation. (sarcasm).
You are, of course, entitled to think all leaders are an embarrassment, but I rather like my governor, representative, and both senators. I have never been a fan of Biden, but I found him preferable to his opponent.
There has been a lion on the other side of the mountain to the west of my son's place that has taken two or three larger dogs recently. Maybe this was the one.

No, not all of our leaders are an embarrassment to the nation. That's an unfair and over generalized characterization based upon the embarrassing and disqualifying behavior and rhetoric of some.

Really? It seems that the wackos are now in the Speaker's chair and on key committees. It's wacko that Jim Jordan is going to chair the judiciary committee when he was identified as one of the congressional facilitators of Trump's big lie and STOP THE STEAL violence on January 6. It's wacko to put George Santos on the science committee.

Just as you may like your governor, rep, and senators, others won't and may be able to name legitimate things they are guilty of. I've learned to not trust the government or the media, or take anything any of them say at face value. Sorry, not sorry.
Saying you voted for Biden as the lesser of 2 evils highlights the problem with our government now. Trump is a human dumpster fire in his own respect, and Biden, after nearly 50 years in government has no real accomplishments, is just as much of one. It's a sad state for our nation
