I came across this is little story today, it's not breaking news. I suspect that a member of the housekeeping staff knows something about the bomb threat that required the sweep for weapons.

QuoteAccording to police in Secaucus, the bomb threat — which later was determined to be bogus — was called in to Hudson Regional Hospital on July 18. During a search, bomb detection dogs led investigators to an unlocked office closet containing dozens of firearms.
Among the weapons were 11 handguns and 27 rifles or shotguns, according to police. The closet also contained a .45 caliber semi-automatic rifle with a high-capacity magazine that was determined to be an assault rifle, and a 14-round high-capacity handgun magazine.
The arrested the guy the next day.
What the heck do you think this guy was doing? It sounds very ominous that he was keeping those weapons there.
Energy Shortages: Britons to be Paid to Not Use Electricity Between 5pm and 6pm on Monday

Socialists bringing both trickle up and trickle down poverty to the masses.

Corruption like paying off a Media star during an election with campaign funds or corruption like not divesting from personal business interests or corruption like trying to host international events at your own resort or corruption like trying to use the power of the presidency and House members to retain lost power? Misogyny like calling your female political opponents ugly or misogyny like publicly criticizing women in their looks?
One's discernment must be suffering significantly if they are unaware of the racism that has been encouraged by Trump. It's almost like you don't believe that Trump's efforts to raise animus among republican voters about immigrants and refugees isn't racist at its core.

Maybe some conservatives are unable to use deductive reasoning to evaluate data and evidence.
toomuchbaloney said:IMV that's a lazy approach that allows us to just throw up our hands because some of us don't care about honesty or integrity as much as they care about being in control of things. I see some politicians trying to legislate and provide oversight on service to "we the people" and I see some who are doing little beyond playing politics and obstructing so that they can claim that the president is a failure and government doesn't work. Which politicians are talking about problem solving?
Not sure how stating my opinion is a "lazy approach" but oh well! Maybe you would like to point out a few who are working for we the people, and not just some dog and pony show like Biden going to the border for a photo op and not doing a thing to stop illegal immigration.
nursej22 said:Nope, I don't buy into "both sides do it, so why bother". I think there are good people in government, but how do they compete against those who have rich benefactors who support the useful idiots like McCarthy?
Just giving up is what the unscrupulous want. I refuse to be a victim. Will people like the Mercers, Peter Thiel, Musk, the Kochs, dominate the government? Maybe. But to paraphrase Edmund Burke, bad government will dominate when good people just give up and let them.
Why are you putting something in quotes that I did not say?

Surprise a Democrat that hates police.
Too many Democrats willing to overlook corruption, misogyny, and racism in their own party.
So you are assuming that Ms. Clark's adult offspring is a Democrat? I know many people who vote differently from their parents.

It's kind of embarrassing that you don't know that the PM of the UK is conservative and conservatives have controlled the politics there for more than 12 years. Conservatives gave the UK Brexit... and that put them at a disadvantage in trying to manage the interconnectivity with the EU while not being a member of the IEM.
It's a shame that British conservatives authored all of that but American British blame Socialists.
Like I've said, discernment is a real challenge for too many Americans.

Trump the only President to get poorer during his presidency. We get it you have to deflect from the problems in your own party much like a battered spouse makes excuses for them.

Show me where I mentioned conservatives in my post. I referenced socialism which is the hallmark of the climate change scam movement.

Yeah... you believe that Trump lost money because of his generosity and philanthropy and I think that's funny. Deflection? I simply asked you clarifying wording lquestions while mentioning some recent corruption for reference. You seem unable to identify or discuss any claims of corruption that arent pointed at democrats by right wing extremists on your social media feed.
Correct... you didn't mention conservatives while complaining about Socialists and projecting the conservative failures related to BREXIT on Socialists. How embarrassing for you. Are you having trouble understanding how the policies of the conservative tory party led to this energy situation that caught your attention? I shared a link which could help you understand. You must not have read the link, eh?

In your opinion... of course your opinion also blames Socialists for the failures of conservative policy in Great Britain so...

is anyone surprised? Democrats have been misleading the American people since Kennedy was in office.

I accept your opinion about the majority of politicians, but I disagree. I am heartened with the election of new, fresh faces like Frost from Florida and Perez from Washington.
