HeHeHe, I got my "present" early this year. Yesterday, Hubby hands me a 25.00 gift card for Target and gives me the "It's not much but I don't have much time or money" speech. I don't mean to sound ungrateful but it's the same gift card that his boss handed him (not much time or effort involved.) A fitting gift for a marriage in trouble, I guess.

I decided to make the best of it and bought myself a black tote bag for my schoolbooks and a black dayplanner to match.

I got Victoria Secret stuff, emerald pendant and earrings and nice smelly perfume, bodylotion and chocolate......also a new extra wide spatula (either for spanking the kid or to get the X-mas cookies off the cookiesheet better)

I got the exact stethascope I had mentioned months ago. I also got some new nursing shoes so hopefully I will quit whining my legs hurt...I got some sweet pea from bath and body works, pens and pencils for school (I am a fanatic about pens and pencils) and a really cute nursing Tshirt and a french manicure. But the absoulte best was the card I got....it brought tears to my eyes...all I gave was money for a surf board since I had not clue which one to buy and lots of kewl clothes. Can't wait for school to be done so I can really spoil all my loved ones next xmas....

DH bought me a new coat for Christmas. He kept telling me to buy one because my old one was over 5 years old (and had some stains that wouldn't come out). I told him that I could wait for next year since we couldn't afford one right now. Well he bought me a nice Columbia coat that is black. I guess he knows how much I spill things :imbar and that one won't get as dirty. I bought him clothes for Christmas (that is what he asked for).

My fiancee got me a sapphire+diamond ring, gift certificate for a local spa, a box of foot pampering stuff, hair clips, make up, scarf+ gloves, candles, and "heaven" scent from the Gap. We decided that since I start the core program in Jan and will be broke from that point out ha ha- to have a nice Christmas this yr

Man oh Man...there would be heck to pay if I did something like that to hubby and vice versa! You are SO not ungrateful. I am glad you picked out some goodies for yourself though!:icon_hug:

Mine outdid himself this year. He picked out a 3-diamond necklace set in white gold. He determined that the three stones (typically 'past-present-future') actually stand for "Papa Bear-Mama Bear-Baby Bear" since we had our first child in September.

For a guy that hardly ever ever supports the Hallmark company, he really redeemed himself this Christmas. :kiss

I am sorry to read this, you deserve better! Next time responded to his "what's for dinner" with "Honey YOU 're having cyperchips and dip" and then pack up the kids and go out without him.....

I got a new handgun, as I love to go to the range, and also carry one for self protection (legally of course) . I got a new Kahr 9 mm. Very nice and fun to shoot.
