Waiting on Ivy Tech acceptance letters thread

Published

I thought it might be nice to have a place for us to vent our frustrations with waiting until May 30th or so when letters start going out. I know I'm going nuts already!

How about introductions and a little info about each person?

I'm applying to both Bloomington and Indy-Lawrence for the Fall 2009 ASN programs. I turned in my apps this week with 4 As on the pre-reqs and a 90.0 on the TEAS. My eventual goal is at least getting a BSN, and if I feel like doing homework long enough, an MSN of some sort. I work full time now, but will hopefully only work part time if I get accepted. I'm so antsy to start preparing and finally feel like all of this is real!

WOW! Congrats csab! That is awesome. :yeah:

Congrats Csab!! That is the best score I think I've ever heard anyone getting!! awesome job!! You'll have your choice of programs!! AWESOME!!!!!

If I got a 96 on my teas, I would probably make a shirt of it and wear it around everywhere!! =) You should be very proud of yourself!!!

Wow congrats everyone!!!!

I am not applying until fall, but I took the TEAS today. . . I'm super excited because I got a 96!! I don't mean to brag and I'm sorry if it seems like I am but I'm just so tickled I had to share with someone! I know everyone here understands how much stress and pressure this whole journey is.

96! Holy crap! You pretty much just wrote your own admissions letter I think! Awesome job!

Wow congrats everyone!!!!

Wow-that is the highest score I've have ever seen. You definately have nothing to worry about. Good job!!

Thanks so much ladies!!

I am only applying to Indy, because Anderson/Muncie don't even have an RN program in the spring, and Columbus is too far for me I think. New Castle isn't too bad of a drive but I think they were dropping their RN Spring program--when I went to the info session in Anderson I crossed the spring RN New Castle program off the info sheet but I wasn't paying too much attention because at the time I never thought of New Castle because I didn't know where it was. I think I vaguely remember her saying it was being dropped next year. So, it's Indy only for me.

Which Ivy Tech do you plan to apply to?

Wow congrats everyone!!!!

You have every right to brag and this is the place to do it! That is an awesome score...congrats! :yeah:

Wow that is awesome csab!

Congrats to everyone else admitted to Greencastle!!! Wow, that makes it so much more real that some of you have already been accepted. What an exciting day!

Congratulations on killing the TEAS, csab!! That's incredible and you should be very proud!!

Please let the Indy and Bloomington letters come in the mail today *cross fingers*

I just called the indy campus to check when they are mailing and the lady that answered said that they have been on break the last two weeks and wouldn't be back until next Tuesday! She said that she didn't know if they worked on the letters or even looked through the applicants while they are break! What does that mean!! Surely it takes longer that three days to go through the applicants make out the letters, and mail them!!! I'm going to be sick!!! :barf02:
