UC Davis New Grad Residency Fall 2020

Is anyone planning on applying? Application period opens up April 29th. I am curious how it will work out with unit placement when so many programs in CA did not get to finish their preceptorships.

Hi. Yes, I’m unable to open the website at my end. This happened last Saturday when I checked. Good luck to you as well!

My application is still saying application received. It seems like most people have had their status change and I applied on April 29th. Do you think I should call HR and just make sure that it is in their system?

Mine still says application received as well. It sounds like in past years, all statuses switched to "routed" at the same time, so I wonder why it is different this year. Either way, by looking at the posts for the previous cohorts, it seems like it is likely still very early in their process.

If you do talk to HR, let us know what they say? Good luck!!

Hey all, spoke with HR this past week. Calls for interviews will go out in July. Doesn't seem like a priority at this moment.

If it makes you all feel any better - my application status never changed. It was always “application received” and I was one of the people that was hired into the Spring cohort ? So don’t obsess over the status of your app like I did!

My application status changed from "application received" to "application under review" as of today. Not sure when it switched because I haven't checked for a few days, but just wanted to let everyone know they might finally be getting around to these apps.
