Is anyone planning on applying? Application period opens up April 29th. I am curious how it will work out with unit placement when so many programs in CA did not get to finish their preceptorships.

I know UCSF does not accept ADNs and I think UCDavis will be same since its the same system but I'm really not sure. Today is the last day to submit so I would say just apply anyway. You never know.
Hi guys:) ☺️
I applied as well. I am going to graduate at the end of the year, but my NCLEX is in august so I'm hoping to get I, but I know my chances are really low. I was hoping to start in October. What do you think?
My application status says: application received, I was wondering what was your status? I applied on the 5/5
Thanks and fingers crossed for all of you:)
Best?

If your school sends transcripts quickly and you have sent your application in well in advance, it doesn't take long for att numbers to be emailed. Just start studying for NCLEX right after graduation so you can pick the earliest available test date.
I graduated April 24 and am taking NCLEX may 22 but could have selected dates as early as may 5. Maybe it's because my school graduation date was not in line with most other schools, but the board processed everything very quickly.
Thanks for the encouragement! I was able to apply for the OR training program just in time for the deadline. Hoping these programs will be understanding about preceptorships being changed around. For me, OR preceptorship was cancelled and replaced with med/surg rotation.
