  1. My application for OR residency program changed from "application under review" to "no longer under consideration." I'm not sure when this happened as I hadn't checked in a while, but the status does change if they are no longer considering you. Just wanted to let you all know in case anyone was wondering.
  2. Could be two more months of... just...waiting. Great. ?
  3. For those that have previous experience, did they wait unit the very last month to update status to no longer in consideration? I'm sure they have a pretty good idea as to who they are definitely not going to accept. I wish they would just reject those applicants rather than make them wait.
  4. It is? Maybe I should start applying to positions in Maryland ? Also, I can so relate to stalking my application status.
  5. Does anyone know if the application status changes to "no longer under consideration" if they are are no longer considering you, or if the status just stays "application under review." Also, is there anyone who has an application that is not currently "under review"?
  6. For those of you who also applied to OR program, I think they are starting to go through those applications as well. My app status changed to under review. There doesn't seem to be a separate thread for the OR program.
  7. I'm wondering about this too, or if anybody knows of someone who got hired with a non BSN bachelor's?
  8. I graduated from an ADN program (I have Bachelor’s in Biology) and they did not have preceptor hours. However, I completed an externship in the hospital setting where I did a lot of training in ICU. I did not request a specific department in the cover letter, but I did mention that most of my externship training was in ICU. I also did not use the proper format (chart on UC Davis website) to document my clinical hours. Some previous posts indicated that this was very important. I’m not expecting to get hired because I know they prefer a BSN and programs with preceptor hours, but it’s worth a shot.
  9. I asked a similar question earlier. It seems that "application under review" doesn't really mean anything other than they are reviewing it. If anyone has information to the contrary, please post. I submitted my application on 5/13/20 and my status changed to "under review" early last week.
  10. My status has changed from “application received” to “application under review.” Does anyone know if this means that I am being considered for the position or do all applications go under review at some point? I looked at previous posts from last year and it seems that some applicant’s status did not change. If someone knows if this is a good sign, please post. Thanks ?
  11. Did anyone here apply with ADN degree? I have a bachelor's degree in Biology, but not a BSN. The posting said that BSN and MSN were preferred. On the main website it stated that BSN or MSN were required. Just wondering if anyone here applied with ADN or have heard of anyone getting accepted with ADN degree.
  12. Thanks That gives me something to think about!
  13. For those of you who were accepted for Spring, are there any of you who also got accepted at Delta for Fall? I am in this situation, I am going to take a couple of days to make my decision. Maybe I should start a MJC versus Delta ADN thread?
  14. I just found out that MJC placed me in Spring semester for ADN program. I got accepted to Delta for Fall. At his point I am probably going to Delta college as I would start sooner and get finished 8 months before those starting in spring. Could anyone who transferred from Delta to MJC, or vice verca share their experience?
  15. I received my e-mail. I was accepted for spring Check your e-mail!
