  1. No, not yet. They want us to do this in the month of December.
  2. Hi so I believe this is correct. As always I would check with Kendis. I got my email and Ive been kind of reading everything and they don't want you to start doing any of that stuff till the month before school starts. My friend who is in her third semester in the nursing program already, stated the same. she said usually they will give you more information about this during orientation. I think the only thing that was necessary to turn in right now is the declaration of intent and possibly start ordering your uniforms since it takes between 3-4 weeks for Scrubs and Beyond to get them ready for you.
  3. They will pull out people from the waitlist until December. I believe someone said they where selected a day before the semester started on this thread. So just keep checking until December. for spring semester I believe they have until October to accept their spot. Good luck!
  4. it is okay if the green marks do not show. It was the same way last year. Only the LVN's had green check marks. good luck to everyone whose documentations where approved, one step closer in the right direction.
  5. Definitely better chances for those with75, n 76:)
  6. Than I might have been confused than. Last years lowest for documentation was 72 for mjc.
  7. Yes my friend is in her first semester at Stan and about to enter her third at MjC. It goes by merit. You apply to the scholarship and you can do a semester at a time during the summer while finishing your RN. From what I understand they pay for your first 12 units.
  8. For documentations the lowest I know of is 73 for mjc and 71 possibly 70 for Columbia. From people that have posted on the mjc group and from people I work with. Idk what points will be the current off for wait list. We will know when they tell us.
  9. Congratulations yay!!! One step closer for the rest of us! LVN’s usually get theirs approved before all of us.
  10. you will not see any changes until July first. It means that they have checked the documents you provided and that they coincide with the information you submitted on your application. last year the LVN's did get their documents approved a week before than the date given but for the most part it will not change status until then. I know its nerve wrecking but hang in there one more week and a couple of days left till we hear back.
  11. I think everyone gets nervous, I'ts human nature. Those who don't are lucky, wish I didn't get nervous. Everyone has worked extremely hard and even those with low points there is still hope that they may be pulled from the wait list. Good luck to everyone else, never give up if its your dream make it happen one way or another. It doesn't matter what road you take as long as you get to your final destination.
  12. I believe this is correct, 71 will be the cut off for people invited to provide documentation but the ones accepted will be higher. I know its a little confusing on how they select their candidates but here is an insert from the allied health page: "Initially 120 applicants for the MJC campus and the 40 applicants for the Columbia College campus with the highest points will be selected to provide supporting documentation. The final pool will consist of 80 students for the MJC campus and 20 students for the Columbia College campus."
  13. CNA experience, finished my bsn transfer classes and re-took my teas.
  14. I don't mind at all. getting your documents approved does not mean you're in. my documents where approved but my points only landed me in the alternate/wait list. I was not selected from that list. I didn't waste my year though, I managed to collect some extra points along the way. ? We will see how this year goes. Best of luck to us all.
  15. wow you have great information. thanks for your input in this thread. This is my second year applying, this time with a little more points and I've never seen some one have so much knowledge about it. Thank you! It makes me feel more confident about my points.
