  1. Got my rejection call this afternoon for an ICU spot after the second round interview. Came down to a point system and I came up short. Looks like I'm going out of state. Good luck everyone.
  2. That's a good point, I don't see how we could give a genuine answer if we are hearing others' responses, but maybe this round is more about who they think would be a good fit. Who knows! We could speculate all day and still have no idea. That was smart to ask about repeating your examples, but I'll see if that comes up in my interview. The manager told me they had two spots and there are four of us in the running. Fingers crossed.
  3. Thanks! My interview is with the K4 ICU which is Surgical/Trauma/Transplant, tomorrow at 10am. Interestingly it's also another panel interview with 3 other candidates, the nurse manager, and the assistant nurse manager. I'm just wondering how I can avoid repeating myself too much from the first interview!
  4. That's awesome! I know the second round interviews can vary a lot from unit to unit, but I've been told the questions generally have more to do with personality, fit for the unit, conflict res, teamwork, etc, so I've been really trying to prepare the best I can for those kinds of questions. I hope you hear back soon and don't have to agonize over it for too long, I've been so nervous! Report back when you know!
  5. That's great! How was the second interview? Was this for the K4 ICU surgical trauma? Glad you made it this far!
  6. Sounded like it would be more of the same behavioral type questions, but I'm going to try to prepare for anything.
  7. I got a call for a second round interview for ICU. No followup email with the details just yet but I was told it would be another panel of 4 candidates for 2 available positions. My interview is on Tuesday. Good luck everyone!
  8. Had my first round interview with the Critical Care/ICU group and I am hoping and waiting for a second round interview. I hope everyone is hanging in there and taking care of themselves and remembering to take a breath. Can't wait to see who hears back!
  9. Still not seeing it on my end, am I missing something?
  10. My application status changed from "application received" to "application under review" as of today. Not sure when it switched because I haven't checked for a few days, but just wanted to let everyone know they might finally be getting around to these apps.
  11. Congratulations! Oakland? San Mateo?
  12. Hey everyone, I got my acceptance email for Oakland! I got the prelim award letter and email access before I received my acceptance letter, so hang in there for a minute if you haven't received your acceptance yet.
  13. Hi everyone, I applied about a week before the Dec. 1st deadline to the Oakland cohort. I will share my stats later as more people jump on this thread. Good luck to everyone!
