I've been to a couple and it's mostly boomer aged people with signs standing and chanting, etc. They've been very respectful and obedient to law enforcement which entailed "stand off the street please". The spokesperson for the sheriff's office said they aren't having extra patrols because they've gone so well so far. Mostly I think they will be watching traffic.
We will be standing on a busy intersection here and the only issue I expect is traffic will be heavy coming and going. Perhaps the recent publicity in LA might bring more people out but maybe the fear mongering will keep people away. Either way, it's Florida and the crowd will not be that large. I might be wrong, but I would be highly surprised if it doesn't go as it has in the past. I'll get back to you.
Two Minnesota lawmakers have been shot in their separate homes.
One of the lawmakers – Democratic state representative Melissa Hortman – has died, as has her husband, Mark, the state's governor, Tim Walz, confirmed at a press conference on Saturday. He said the shooting "appears to be a politically motivated assassination".

The man had a list of other lawmakers and officials in the vehicle police searched, and alerts were sent out to take action and provide security to others, Bruley said.

Reminds me of an incident with my son when he was little. I hadn't seen him for a while. I called out his name to locate him in the house and he answered me from upstairs. I asked what he was doing. He answered "Just not writing on the wall.”

Well it sure sounded like that was what was implied, who knows I could be wrong though IDK. But either way it is mostly the left wing that is out destroying property, attacking police etc during their " peaceful protests". Then they seem to project that on Conservatives, just my perspective.
And as I have said many times here if both sides can't work together this whole country is going down. The Rhetoric spewed by politicians is disgusting and IMO isn't helping the Country and the people in any way, just causing more division.

I suspect I'm the culprit. My remarks definitely connected the dress-up Judge Dredd murders with right wing concern about drag queens. Additionally, my language about the fascists and those who support or normalize the fascists is often inflammatory.
