QuoteThe abortion law builds on legislation passed in 2010 that represented a major shift for a traditionally Catholic country, transforming Spain into one of the most progressive countries in Europe on reproductive rights. Spain's constitutional court last week rejected a challenge by the right-wing Popular Party against allowing abortions in the first 14 weeks of pregnancy.
The debate will be heated in Spain, I imagine, as the conservative opposition pushes back. My daughter had horrible menstrual pain during her adolescence and young adulthood. I'm certain that she would have benefitted from that time.
Crusades said:I guess after the 2020 "mostly peaceful but feiry protest" reports by CNN and other left MSM media, Fox can call this riot a riot.
Fox and most other networks were using the word "protest" but their clickbait said riot while the article used "protest". Newsweek called it a riot too.
I'll raise your deflection with another. Tucker Carlson called January 6th largely peaceful and I guess it was, but for the insurrection part. A poster here said we were getting excited about what was tourists at the Capital there to take selfies. I guess climbing over barricades was necessary to get the best selfies?
Compare Trump's response to January 6th to what he's doing in California. I can deflect all day.
Seriously, folks - the sky is blue, the sun comes up in the east and war is a great way to get filthy rich. I wonder if trump and his learning disabled regime ever heard of Charles Manson. Same schtick, different marketing. All this faux outrage is just another advertising campaign. Bait.
I believe that protesters have misbehaved, as have law enforcement. Who did what and why remains TBD. The resistance needs to remember the difference between civil disobedience and riots. The regime needs to be very careful what it asks for. If people get forced to pick a side, they might not pick the way it wants them to.
Crusades said:Interesting. Would you have supported military deployment on Jan.6th?
I don't see any foreign flags being hoisted in the air, I don't see the US flag being desecrated and set on fire in these two examples you posted above. Nor do I see any direct attacks on law enforcement and government officials either.
If I remember correctly there was far less violence and property damage caused by the Charlottesville protest/riot.
If these 2 incidents included the same violence that occured in 2020 and what is happening right now, I'd say yes Gavin, send in the military.
January 6th was only a few hours and people dispersed pretty quickly. Compare that to say the 2011 Wisconsin capital attack in which the capital was illegally occupied for nearly a month or so. I have never heard of Charlottesville so I cannot comment on that.
Look at the message behind these riots, they want open borders. Without borders there is no United States. This is an attack on the nation and treason. It should be dealt with swiftly.

Two things can be true at once. MSM can amplify or downplay either or.
Trump offered the National guard on Jan.6 so it seems he is treating both equally.

Misbehaved? Throwing bricks and molotov cocktails at police officers is "misbehaving"? This is terrorism however its just typical business for the modern day left. If they can't control every aspect of your life and force their beliefs on you, they will resort to violence. Spoiled children.
Senator Padilla was pushed out of Noem's press conference today when he came with some questions. Agents ignored him when he identified himself, shoved him out of the room, ordered him onto his belly in the hallway and handcuffed him.
DHS responded with baloney. The Senator did identify himself.

Who did he offer it to? DC is unique in that he's in charge of the National Guard there. He's not in charge of the National Guard in California.
Doesn't matter, he's done it, he's justified it, lied about it, and all his peeps are echoing that they are rescuing the people of LA and sides are chosen.
