QuoteThe abortion law builds on legislation passed in 2010 that represented a major shift for a traditionally Catholic country, transforming Spain into one of the most progressive countries in Europe on reproductive rights. Spain's constitutional court last week rejected a challenge by the right-wing Popular Party against allowing abortions in the first 14 weeks of pregnancy.
The debate will be heated in Spain, I imagine, as the conservative opposition pushes back. My daughter had horrible menstrual pain during her adolescence and young adulthood. I'm certain that she would have benefitted from that time.

At this point, I have to think our government knows what they are as we don't seem to concerned about stopping it. They aren't doing a very good job of explaing though.
Yeah, I don't know what the laws are about private citizens flying drones so maybe no laws are being broken. Apparently they did arrest someone for flying one too near an airport but I imagine the drone sitings people are reporting on their social media haven't broken any laws (?)
For all we know it's the government themselves flying them.

The article explains it pretty well.
And, ABC's lawyers must agree. You would think the damage to the organization's reputation would be worth defending. Unless of course they knew they didn't have a chance.

I think they settled for the same reason a lot of organizations settle in that it's cheaper in the long run.
I think also we're in a time when the country is holding Trump in higher regard than it did even from just a few months ago. So it's best to just get this over with and move on.

You're right, but not in the way you think.
If they had fought and lost, they would have paid far more than $15 million. And, they knew they were likely to lose.
If they thought they were on the winning side, protecting their reputation and mounting a defense would be worth far more than the $15 they settled for. Just Stephanopoulos himself makes somewhere around that in one year. So, they could easily afford it.

Perhaps, and I don't disagree, but a 15 million dollar settlement is a drop in the bucket to have it swept under the rug done and gone. With America's attention span (if they even new about it at all), they've already recovered and their reputation is intact. Looking at their ratings it seems they are still the #1 show on the nightly news but this might have been before the settlement.
Couldn't Trump have not taken the settlement and pursued his case if he was that assured to win?

I'm so sick of the racists hating on Thomas because he doesn't go along with the liberal narrative. They believe all black people must think alike and I find it disgusting. The free exchange of ideas and critical thinking is a good thing, even if you do not like it.

by continuing to lie and manipulate in support of the lefty war-mongering narrative. They hate that he is not controlled by the deep state. Soviet show trials are not enough to make me believe in the corporate media/deep state agreed-upon narrative. I prefer fact over political/emotional responses.

Republican women must have the same plastic surgeon . They all look like the daughter or grandmother of Kim Guilfoyle. The one exception was Hope Hicks who was lovely.

What does this mean? How did the lefties commies become war mongers? How could the deep state control Trump exactly?

I apologize. I wasn't following the conversation. The quote in your post she quoted was about Supreme Court justices and bribery/gifts and I lost track.
