Woooohooo! No school tomorrow!
Back to school today after 3 snow days in the Boston area. And there are still giant snow piles blocking bus stops and crosswalks. And I'm also crossing my fingers the storm tracks more away from us for Monday as my weather reports are still saying 5-8 more inches (on top of the ~25-30 inches we got this week, depending exactly what neighborhood you are in).
Here in Chicagoland we were closed yesterday (most of Chicagoland, I did hear that some districts were open). My drive to work today was AWFUL! Most of the ride, I could not see one inch of pavement. Just packed snow, covered in a thin layer of ice from overnight. Ug. I am NOT looking forward to the drive home

I'm in Indiana and we had a 2-hr delay and my drive in was just like yours AWFUL. The news reported 43 accidents in town by 10 am. Every road is packed snow and ice. More snow next few days. Will be lovely on top of what's already on the roads.
I feel a little guilty...l live in a big snow belt area and here it is February and...no snow! The little we have had melted in an unusual January thaw, we got temps up to 40 when it is usually well below zero. We're sadly back to normal temps and snow is in the forecast this weekend, but not much accumulation expected. It's killing the businesses that rely on winter weather.
Visiting this thread today. Here in lovely snowy MA we have had 53" in the past 14 days. A couple more inches due today and the possibly of more significant snow Sunday into Monday. We have had 6 snow days. We had 5 days reserved, but now we are over that and they are debating what to do about it.
Snow is everywhere. Public transit in Boston is a mess and that is how most of the students get to my school. I won't even talk about my commute times. Winter, you win. Just stop it. Please!

He refused to out at one point. Luckily the area where he does his "business" was kind of protected from the wind, but poor Milo!!
Just got the announcement, we have a 1/2 day today due to an incoming storm. As long as we get lunch in, 1/2 days count as a "full day" so it doesn't get tagged on at the end of the year. Students are dismissed at 11. Woot!
