I'm waiting for the thunder snow. Early dismissal decided after the first busses picked up kids. But by 4:30 with 1/2-1" snow already cancelled for tomorrow. All schools closed in 2 counties public, private & special needs

Be safe all you East Coasters! The system passed through here but was extremely weak and fast we only got a few inches and a 2 hour delay today out of it. I am taking Thursday off and we have no school Friday, yay.

What the heck is thunder snow? Never heard that before! We've had a couple snow days already but this big storm coming is not supposed to affect us. We'll see though-there's been two times they weren't predicting any snow and we got 2ft 2 times 2 weeks apart years ago! We were out over a month! Lol! Stay warm!!
Upstate NY. Not one flake of snow despite 8-18" prediction. HA!

What the heck is thunder snow? Never heard that before! [\QUOTE]I have literally "heard" thunder snow before; in 1996 where where we got 3 ft of snow, 2009 when we got back to back snow storms where the total was about 5 feet of snow, and last year, it passed through; I thought I would never hear it again! I was bake to get home the sam time I always do; stayed with main roads and no issues; except the wind it what makes it miserable!

Oh, I would kill for some snow down here in the ATL. And after last year's shameful Snowpocalypse, they will definitely call off school even at the notion of snow. So, come on, all we need is a FORECAST for flurries!!
