This is me right now.
Last semester I literally deleted this app because it was my "I hate school, let's look up AN and make ourselves feel better about it because, after all, it has the word 'nurse' in the title."
I'm hoping I have a little more self control next semester.
And yes, thunder shirts really do work
At least y'all are doing something productive. It would be an okay trade-off if instead of writing a paper, I cleaned the house or folded the iceberg-sized pile of clean laundry on our bedroom floor. But instead I'm doing such productive things as reading about all the films Steve Buscemi has been in or reading about the Red Paperclip Project (if you don't know what that is, you should definitely google it - it was fascinating and hilarious, and now there is another hour from my life that I will never get back).
Thanks a lot for giving me yet another time waster...sigh. By the way, if those thundershirts work I'll have to try one, my silly dog just won't stop whining! Drives me nuts.
I'm supposed to be studying for NCLEX, but I just discovered Pretty Little Liars on Netflix...
Netflix: the sneaky little destroyer of grades and willpower. You don't even realize it until you get the pop-up that says "Are you still watching?" I always read it like "Are you STILL watching? STILL?!"
And while I'm on the subject of total avoidance, does anyone know if Thundershirts really work? My dog is completely neurotic. We've been having rain for like 3 weeks straight here in Denver, and now he won't even go outside. He's been peeing/pooping in the garage. At this moment, he's trying to climb into my lap, quivering like a leaf.
There's a much better product called Calming Collars. They're cloth collars filled with herbs for aromatherapy. They are amazing! I have a very nervous cat so I got one for her. Within 15 minutes of putting it on her, she was calm & purring. If it doesn't work they will refund your money. Just google "calming collars".
I got ya beat, I cleaned litterboxes.I am waiting for a paper to sail back to me from taskstream (I am positive it will but not sure why just yet) so what to do? Work on powerpoint or clean litterboxes.. tough choice.
My cat chooses to die in his literbox when it's time to write a paper...I don't know what they're putting in his organic cat food but it provides an instant distraction from the paper because I HAVE TO GET IT OUT OF MY HOUSE! He sees me sit down at the computer...he runs for the liter box...
