  1. I also took stats online. If you do well with teaching yourself, you can do it! I recommend using YouTube to learn how to properly use the calculator, it makes all the difference and cuts the time spent doing the work tremendously!
  2. I know for sure there are 3 of us that have declined our spots, and they have known this for a while. They just don't have their crap together over there!
  3. Ummm...wth...these people have some serious nerve! First of all, they said they would send the info to the delta student email. I have nothing in my email. I would have never known it was posted to the 'status' page if it weren't for AN. Second of all...wth...it is summer, people go on vacation, a little advance notice of due dates goes a long way. Things are due the 3rd, the 8th, the 13th. These dates cannot be correct! I am extremely grateful that I got into another program. I will not be choosing Delta and I wish you all the best of luck with this program. I hope sooner rather than later they get their act together over there!
  4. My study strategies always depend on the instructor and how they approach both teaching and testing, I adjust accordingly. With Anatomy, I never read my textbook once. I only studied the powerpoints for Lecture. For lab we did have a lab manual that was helpful but I utilized the study/tutoring center. I would go in and review slides of tissue types, cells, and whatever else I could. I would also study the bones and muscles in there before an exam. You can google images of whatever you are studying and print those out and test yourself by labeling the different bones, nerves, muscles, etc... NEVER, EVER miss a class, it's like missing a week of a normal semester. Your life will be kinda chaotic but you can push through, the time flies by! Edited to add...use your own body while memorizing things, if you get stuck on the test you can use your own body to jog your memory!
  5. I was accepted but I was also accepted into CSU Stanislaus. I had 81 or 83 points, i don't remember. I wrote it somewhere in this thread early on but I don't feel like searching through all those pages to find it [emoji6]...Good Luck to all of you who got in and those on the waitlist!
  6. All I can do is [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]
  7. When they do update the webpage with the results it will be late in the day!
  8. At least we know there are several of us that did not get a response!
  9. I think I understand what you are confused about. There is admission to the university itself, and then there is admission to the school of nursing. You were accepted to the university but you are an alternate with the school of nursing. The intent to enroll for the university along with the deposit is due by May 1st. Unfortunately, people on the alternate list with the SON can be called up to the night before the fall semester starts, so you do have to take into consideration where you are at on that list and what the prior years statistics are for alternates getting in. I can't tell you what choice to make but I do suggest that you look into all the different options and routes to becoming a RN. This program is not the only program! I hope that helped!
  10. No, I have not received a confirmation email about the teas yet either!
  11. Wow...don't even get me started on the 'counselors'...smh. I already knew going into this process to have ZERO expectations on any timely follow through on their part! I was given plenty of warnings from others in the program and yet I still get surprised by some of their actions or should I say inactions!
  12. Faith2rn...did you ever get a confirmation email about your TEAS?
  13. I sent them the night of the 18th but because ATI is in a different time zone, my email from them says the 19th.
  14. I think that's a good idea. Deltas email system us been down over the past few days so I am sure they are behind on sending those emails out. I have not received my email yet either so don't worry!
  15. After you sent your results, ATI should have emailed you a confirmation stating that your TEAS results were sent to Delta and it would have had the date and time. Did you receive that email?
