’75 million are watching’: Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene trashes fellow GOP lawmaker for revelations against Trump
The pro-Trump lawmaker denounced Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler (R-Wash.) for agreeing to testify about Trump’s inaction after House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy pleaded with him to do something to protect Vice President Mike Pence...

McConnell has said he's voting to acquit. Like the last impeachment I think it would be a bit more professional to at least wait until the end of the trial and pretend like you're making a legal decision based on the evidence before expressing your bias.
As I mentioned earlier this week, the man overseeing this "trial" said way back in the middle of January that the Senate should convict Trump.

Woman is crackers. Round the bend, loony, bat *** bonkers!
I read or heard somewhere that she was shagging a couple of guys at her gym. Is that true or just rumor mongering?
Update :
Just looked it up and it comes from dubious publications. I would ignore those sources as spiteful.

I did which is why I was asking for verification. The sources are not exemplary based on what I saw.
Doesn't detract from her silliness. When you go onto a new unit, do you immediately advertise yourself as she did? Or do you suss the people and protocols before contributing?

Might as well throw it out there, though. Nothing else is working.
I'm not sure what exactly is up for dispute, It seems the only thing to get hashed out is whether it should be tolerable for a sitting President to try to stay in power despite losing an election by usurping power with a violent mob.

As I said above, I expected this.
I can almost see holding the rioters responsible for their own actions, (even though some said they should be pardoned because they did what Trump said).
What I won't forget is how spineless congress has been the last four years. They allowed his countless lies, and supported his conspiracy theory that he won the election. Congress is as responsible as anyone for the insurrection.
But I accept the verdict and will move on. I won't give that ex-President another moment of thought in my head.

Did you hear Senator McConnell's statement? (posted above)

I confess that this thread has not interested me much because I knew how it would end. But I do thank you for pointing that out. I would say also that is unprofessional as well.

No. I can't put myself through the torture of listening to him. I stopped listening to him in the Obama years. LOL

Well I think you maybe mistaken because you will be hearing a lot more about Trump probably for the next six months or so. His cases in New York and Georgia are only just beginning and both Prosecuters appear to be formidable. He won't be getting any protection from anyone and it will include many people who have aided and abetted him.
I wouldn't trust anyone around him because I think they are all as disloyal as he is. They will be cutting deals and turning on each other. I present McConnell's reactions. He is such a hypocrite because the impeachment began when Trump was in office and HE was the person that delayed the impeachment going forward and now he was afraid to vote because he felt the impeachment can only be used when someone is in office?
I think McConnell is aware that he could also be investigated and is hedging his bets. He gave kickbacks to his wife's company and possibly smooth paths with China for her business.
When Cruz is being investigated, do you think he doesn't know where some of McConnell's skeletons are buried? It's a snake pit of vipers!

Senate strikes deal, bypassing calling impeachment witnesses
... The Senate entered a statement Herrera Beutler released on Friday night into the trial record.
The move will allow the Senate to bypass calling additional witnesses-a process that senators warned could prevent Trump's second impeachment trial for days if not a number of weeks.
Herrera Beutler released a statement saying that House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) had told her about his conversation with Trump on Jan. 6...
