Camwill good luck to you. You have your hands FULL!! Do you work fulltime or part time. Getting the classes out if the way is very smart. I intend to do the same!!

Well I do not work per say. I have seven kids which believe me isn't as hard as it seems. They do have me running around but I couldn't picture it any other way. I volunteer at my hospital and tutor. And I do a ton of housework. It really is all about being organized for me. If I don't plan things can go down hill but I tend to stay ahead. I almost had a hickup a month ago because of some friends but I got some advise and handled it nicely. My husband works and goes to school. We live modestly and work together and things just seem to be going great:)

My last day for my summer class will be next Monday the 18th. So far we had our first exam 2 weeks ago on the first 6 chapters and I came out of it with a B. Chem class drives me crazy especially since it's fast paced but I'm luckily hanging on. This week we will be finished with the final chapter and all the piles of labs and homework we've been assigned need to be all handed it for grading. I doubt I'll ever take another summer class unless I have to like I did with this class because I'm exhausted lol.

My summer term does not even start until next the 25th and then runs through August.

Well, one week of school down! My brain is already full...LOL

My anatomy class has dropped from 30 students to 13. We did cells & histology last week. This week, skin & bones.

Phlebotomy is a FUN class!!! I absolutely love it! It's all hands-on blood draws. Did 2 draws on Tuesday and we'll do 2 more tonight. Successful punctures on both...yay! :w00t:

Psychology is what it is. Kinda boring, but it's a very easy class. We had our first exam yesterday and I got 100% on it

Healthy Lifestyles is only once a week, but it's all common sense, so it's not too difficult. Lots of reading!

Camwill...you are awesome!! I applaud you because I have four children and I think I'm going crazy some days. Dividing up my attention with school and kids and hubby is tough!! It's awesome that you have a support system and that you are organized. My hats are off to you!! :)

I feel a bit frazzled but that is partly because work is continuing to be crazy while I'm juggling school. I got a 99 on our second test (made a stupid mistake and lost a point, oh well). 3 weeks down, 3 more to go.

Hey ya'll! Hope summer semesters are going well for everyone! I'm taking Psych, Moral Theology (Catholic school requirement) and Intro to Computers (putting towards my BA for future). I'm done with everything and applying next month for Spring 2013 start. I took the Nursing Entrance Exam 2 days ago and got a 77 which they said was good, so I think I have a decent shot at getting in. I'm excited! Good luck everyone!

Camwill I think it's awesome you're doing it with 7 kiddos! I have 5, they are all under 8, and some days it's crazy, but only if someone gets sick or something, otherwise I have things down to a science! But if things are out of control in the house, it all goes downhill fast!!!

Hi All!

Today was my last day for summer class (Gen Chem). It was one of the most brutal tests I have taken so far. I am finally done and can breathe a sigh of relief. I have to wait for my final grade which will be released on Thursday and then I can hand in my application to my schools evening nursing program. I'm so excited!

Next step now is to study hard for the NLN exam. I'm taking off for fall semester to focus on working and saving money and will do my own self study for A&P II that I will take Spring 2013 hopefully along with any nursing classes if I get in.

I'm taking a 5 week sociology, online class, only 2 weeks left to go! Also a elementary algebra class, which meets twice a week, that is an 8 week class I have 5 weeks left for the math. I'm getting A's in both! I would totally do it again. Not sure about taking sciences in the short summer sessions. But these 2 are doable. The sociology is very easy, just lots of reading. The math takes a little time to sink in, & I've found that this teacher isn't the best. So it is my responsibility to seek extra help and do all the homework & ask questions if I get caught up anywhere. Most of the students are re-taking that class because their grade wasn't high enough to move on to intermediate algebra. I work about 15-20 hours a week & I have 2 kiddos that are out of school for the summer! I will apply to NS in the fall of 2013!
