Not a school nurse but we received an email letting us know that if we are caught leaving the premises with even one mask we will be charged with theft. ?

Some strict measures are necessary but for *#!$ sake we could use a moratorium on the whole hateful employees-are-the-enemy routine right about now. There should be a memo for that: "Until further notice the usual hate- and fear-mongering procedures are to be minimized.

I guess people's true colors come out when there is a crisis. How pathetic.

I would be having the biggest temper tantrum my Principal has ever seen if that had happened, especially at this time. I have my gloves and masks hidden and locked up, because I have had supplies disappear on other occasions. Now only, me, my assistant, and my A.P. in charge of keys are the only ones with access to those cabinets. People are going absolutely crazy!

We had two NBA players test positive yesterday. They had meet and greets with many students... everyone is panicking. Office is definitely locked now!

Consider locking up your toilet paper as well...word has it you can't get a single roll at the Walmart!

And that should take care of the human fear that motivates people in a crisis like this.

My masks were gone once Covid19 started. I hid one box in my filing cabinet that locks, but the other box I had was gone. I was so angry, just that someone took them... ugh

My superintendent and I had discussed how I locked up my supplies. We discussed again last week releasing roughly half of my supplies (not that I had an abundance) to the county OEM supply for distribution to hospitals, ems, jails, etc.
Meanwhile, back at my fort, I have dusted off my sewing machine and have made about 1/2 dozen cloth masks so far.
