Spring 09 Hopefuls

I wanted to start a support thread for all of us that will be applying for the Spring 09 start. My hope is that we keep this thread alive through the process and keep each other encouraged! Nursing School is hard enough to get into!

Where are you applying?

What is your GPA and/or points for your school of choice?

When is your schools deadline?

When does the acceptance letters go out?

What is your plan A, B, C...?

I got accepted, finally, in PVAMU CON. I was on the wait list at first and was sadden for a little bit but then picked myself back up (along with encouragement from husband,family and friends) and just prayed for the best. Now i am so happy that i get to start next semester! Congrats to everyone who get to start next semester and for everyone else, don't give up! Please don't give up! It is just a matter of timing.

PV is an awesome school, they push you hard but you will come out knowing alot of stuff that other students don't know! Good luck! :nurse:

ok, i'm so happy for everyone that has received their acceptance letters!! congrats!!! :clphnds::clphnds: it is really going to happen everyone!!

i've learned a lesson lately!! i let a cold go too long and have the first bacterial infection of my life!! a friend of mine that graduated from nursing school said when jump on any illness when in school......i'm listening! just my....:twocents:

azmono2, plover1, radmom....longisland with two acceptance "wow".....anyone else i've missed too!! school here we come!!!!!!!!!!

my 1st choice was molloy since they offer bsn and i just want to go for it!

i gave them my deposit and it look likes ill be starting clinicals in the fallll!!!! i have to take like 3 classes towards my bachelors..but is ok..im still real happy to be in the nursing program! im getting a's in micro and phys...i can't ask for more....god is truly blessing me!:heartbeat

ps: congratulations to all of us in our acceptance...we are some dedicated nursing students!

I finally got my acceptance letter after rejections one after another. I applied for Spring but got accepeted for Fall. Not what I was hoping for but way better than nothing. I just have to wait 9 mos to be in NS. I don't know how I will be able to handle the anticipation cause I am so excited! yey!
