I wanted to start a support thread for all of us that will be applying for the Spring 09 start. My hope is that we keep this thread alive through the process and keep each other encouraged! Nursing School is hard enough to get into!

Where are you applying?

I'm on the alternate list at the school I applied to...I was not told what rank I am but there are a total of twenty alternates. It is so frustrating, but I'm still hopeful that I could get in. I've gone ahead and applied to some more schools for Fall '09 in the case that I don't get in...

I am an alternate for my school of choice. I got a call last week asking if i were still interested for admissions for next spring because some seats have become available. Of course i said yes. They say if i was picked then they would contact me this coming week. So i really hope to hear something. I hope you do too!

One of the other schools I applied to ( Long Island University) said yessssssssssssssssssssssss!

I still have one more school to hear from!

I had pretty much given up for the spring but I'm IN!!

I got accepted, finally, in PVAMU CON. I was on the wait list at first and was sadden for a little bit but then picked myself back up (along with encouragement from husband,family and friends) and just prayed for the best. Now i am so happy that i get to start next semester! Congrats to everyone who get to start next semester and for everyone else, don't give up! Please don't give up! It is just a matter of timing.
