Spring 09 Hopefuls

I wanted to start a support thread for all of us that will be applying for the Spring 09 start. My hope is that we keep this thread alive through the process and keep each other encouraged! Nursing School is hard enough to get into!

Where are you applying?

What is your GPA and/or points for your school of choice?

When is your schools deadline?

When does the acceptance letters go out?

What is your plan A, B, C...?

For all of us that have found out, when will you all be graduating? I'm thinking December 2010 for most of us correct since we're starting in Spring 2009?

It depends on who is in what type of program.

For myself:

Spring 09-1st semester

Fall 09 - 2nd semester

Spring 10 - 3rd semester

Fall 10 - 4th semester

So I should be graduating in May 2010.

Some like Jess6 will be done sooner b/c she got into an accelerated program....What about you Texas? Is your program accelerated?

When does the acceptance letters go out? mid december

What is your plan A, B, C...? plan b is to keep trying, or i can still apply to radiology technology school

No...didn't wasted my time- I did applied to Suffolk and got a NO! My GPA is 3.3 and Im doing Micro and Dev Psychology this semester. Im done with all prerequistes.

Schools I applied to were Suffolk, LIU and Molloy. I did applied to NYU but stopped the application process..too far and complicated for me.

Did you applied to Nassau?

Did you receive an official acceptance letter from LIU? They told me I was accepted via e-mail but am still waiting for my letter. Does it just tell you your accepted or does it get more specific? (ie. money they may give you etc.)

I just spoke to them - I found out on the phone. I applied OCT 31st and they told me yes by NOV 14th- She told me letter is arriving soon!!! did you get in for pre- nursing or Nursing BSN- I got into the BSN but, i still need History, and Chem 2- I saw in the website that professional ( Clinicals) starts once you finish all pre-requistes done- I need to go in person and speak to someone. are you going to go there?
