Spring 09 Hopefuls

I wanted to start a support thread for all of us that will be applying for the Spring 09 start. My hope is that we keep this thread alive through the process and keep each other encouraged! Nursing School is hard enough to get into!

Where are you applying?

What is your GPA and/or points for your school of choice?

When is your schools deadline?

When does the acceptance letters go out?

What is your plan A, B, C...?

Congrats! I got an e-mail today from Long Island U- Brooklyn telling me I got accepted and to expect my official letter in 7-10 days. It's not my first choice, but I'm relieved I can start somewhere in January :yeah:

hey everyone!

im applying and hoping to get into U of M Medical Center..

GPA: is 3.2 (I am not so sure about the point system some of you are talking about)

schools deadline: jan 13

applications go out March 11

Plan B: also applied at DSU so hopefully something will work out!

One of the other schools I applied to ( Long Island University) said yessssssssssssssssssssssss!

I still have one more school to hear from!

But my self esteem level is High!:yeah:

No...didn't wasted my time- I did applied to Suffolk and got a NO! My GPA is 3.3 and Im doing Micro and Dev Psychology this semester. Im done with all prerequistes.

Schools I applied to were Suffolk, LIU and Molloy. I did applied to NYU but stopped the application process..too far and complicated for me.

Did you applied to Nassau?
