I wanted to start a support thread for all of us that will be applying for the Spring 09 start. My hope is that we keep this thread alive through the process and keep each other encouraged! Nursing School is hard enough to get into!

Where are you applying?

What is your GPA and/or points for your school of choice?

When is your schools deadline?

When does the acceptance letters go out?

What is your plan A, B, C...?

It has been forever since I have been able to come in and read everyone's comments. But, I wanted to say Congratulations to everyone who has gotten in. And for those of us still waiting I will definitely say a prayer for all of us.

You know i am so glad I stopped to read this thread! I was in another thread for Spring 09 of a specific college, and it got negative once the rejection letters started coming in about the fairness of calculations.

BUT ~ i was accepted into Texas Woman's University Dallas and i am THRILLED, EXCITED, AND SCARED. So, i'm sorry for any of you who may not get to start nursing school this spring - and congratulations for those that do.

I'm glad i found a thread that is supportive!!

I went to the mailbox today and was excited to see my letter from nursing school had finally arrived. I opened it and found out I'm on the waiting list. It was not a complete rejection, but now I have to wait and see if someone decides to drop out of the program. I'm not completely bummed, I think I am just frustrated. Off to have a glass of wine.

Hello Guys! I love the support on here and at this time everyone needs support. Well ii applied to PVAMU CON and was put on the waiting list. At firs i was sad and then hopeful but now I am planning ahead for next Fall because God Has a plan for me but on his timing. So if i do get in for spring 09' then that would be excellent but if not then life will go on! I just get to enjoy my baby son even more since i will have a lot of more free time for another semester. I do have a great support team; My Husband, parents, grandparents, siblings, and best friends all rooting for me! I love those guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:icon_roll:redbeathe
