Fomite is my new favorite word because it sounds like a sandwich spread.

I often joke that I carry a magic wand that takes solves problems and takes care of pt's symptoms. Today, I actually said:

"My magic wand can fix a lot of things, but stupid isn't one of them."

when triaging on a friday night and the waiting room is full there is always the person who demands to be seen for the pain they have had for 2 weeks! i have bitten my tongue til it bleeds when i want to say......:banghead:

if it hurts only when you bend it backward then......don't bend it backward!":smokin:

i'm guilty on this one you have bit your tongue, however, i have said those exact words to a patient although, i have ended the statement with "bless your heart" and moved on to the next pt.:cool:

I must not be creative ... I never, ever would have thought of crushing Klonopin and injecting the crushed med with heroin. Is that the polysubstance abuse version of fusion cuisine?
