Docs on rounds, and, apparently, the word of the day was "appreciate". "I couldn't appreciate a murmur on this baby" or "I couldn't appreciate bowel sounds, etc. About the 3rd time I heard one of them say they couldn't appreciate a murmur, I went over to the group and said to the Attending: "Dr. CMFINC, NOBODY 'appreciates' a murmur, trust me!"

Didn't hear that the rest of the day!
