I know fetch is leaving (Boooo!) and some of us have talked about it.

Who will still be in our ranks next year?

I will!

I'll be back for year 15! Too much time in now to quit...

Specializes in School Nursing, Hospice,Med-Surg.

I haven't seen a contract yet but, as soon as I do, I'm signing up for year two!

And thanks to those who say year two is better. I'm crossing my fingers that I'm not so sick next go-around!

I was waiting until closer to the end to announce but this is as good of a time as any--I am retiring at the end of this school year. I have known that the time was coming (I'm 61) and it just feels right. There are a few volunteer-ish things I'd like to do, we plan to travel (already have two trips planned!) and I can be more available for grandmother duties. So I'm comfortable and happy with this decision. I may peek in from time to time, just to see what's happening "on the board". Continued success to you all!

Congrats to you on your retirement!!

Specializes in endcrinology, peds.

I love it too much to go anywhere:woot:

Okay, let's not get crazy here! (kidding)

Me! ... after my maternity leave ends. Having baby at the end of this year and taking some time off at the beginning of next, hoping I won't come back to a mess!

(Tangent: A few weeks ago, some students rushed into my office telling me another student upstairs was choking. So my pregnant belly and I "ran" up the stairs as much as running was possible ... no one was choking or having their life threatened in any way. I think it took an hour for my heart rate to return to baseline. :banghead:)
