I have off for the Jewish holidays, but I see by the activity here, some of you are at work.
What holidays does your school honor?

We do not get the Jewish holidays off; very, very few Jewish students at my school. The only religious holiday (expect Christmas, if you consider it religious) we get off is Good Friday.
We do get the federal holidays: Labor Day (since we always start before it), Columbus Day, Veteran's Day, Martin Luther King Day, President's Day (part of Feb vacation in the Northeast), Memorial Day, New Year's Day. Oh, the day after Thanksgiving, which isn't a federal holiday.
In MA, we also get Patriot's Day (part of April vacation week and the day of the Boston Marathon) and the students get a day called Evacuation Day, which is always March 17 or closet business day to it. Staff has a professional day, but I joke the reason that is a holiday 'round MA is because that is St. Patty's Day .

This is pretty similar to our holiday schedule except we don't have a February vacation (is that like spring break? We have that in March/April) and we also get the day before Thanksgiving.
We get the Labor Day. Jewish holidays, Columbus Day, Election Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving and the day after (1/2 day before) Christmas break, MLK day, Feb, break (includes President's day) Spring Break (usually between Passover and Easter- if it dos not include Good Friday or "Easter Monday" we get those off as well, Memorial Day.

I'm not a School District Employee, I'm a PHN for the City, so it works a little different. Most of the City and school holidays line up (breaks are a little more complicated). If there is a City holiday we close the health center no matter what, if it's a school holiday we can choose to stay open to the students, only open for admin work (no students), or have the time off with no pay or use vacation.
School holidays are:
Thanksgiving Week
Winter Holiday
MLK
Lincoln's Birthday
Spring Break
Malcolm X's Birthday
My Holidays:
Includes all of the above except the full Thanksgiving/Winter/Spring breaks. If we are closed during those times I use vacation time and/or work at the City's Public Health Clinic.
Indigenous People's Day (aka Columbus Day) (School is in session, but we are closed)
Day after Thanksgiving
4th of July

We don't get Jewish holidays, we get the normal federal holidays, the Weds before and Friday after Thanksgiving, two weeks at Christmas, a week in March and late May-early August for summer. We also get a random "fall" holiday" on the 23rd of this month.
Hands down, my favorite day off is the day before Thanksgiving. That was negotiated a long time ago and we do another day either in the beginning or in June, cannot remember which. Wednesday before Turkey Day travel (especially the Mass Turnpike is HORRIBLE) So to be able to take off at 2:30 on Tues is just fabulous, or to have an extra day of prep is equally amazing!!

We get:
Columbus Day weekend off (usually the Fr, Sa, Su, Mo off around Oct 10)
Veterans Day (which is a Wednesday this year so we get a random day off in the middle of the week- weird!)
Thanksgiving from Wednesday (yes!) to Sunday.
"Holiday Break"- 10-14 days off around Christmas
February Break which is 1 week off in the middle of Feb which usually coincides with the week of President's Day. This is a regional thing- we never had Feb break when I went to high school in the midwest.
Spring Break (one week) which is in April.
Our scheduled last day is June 14.
No Jewish Holidays off for us!
We have lots of workshop days where kids don't come to school, but we do (I'm on a teacher's contract, so I work when they do.).
