Our district has asked that my supervisor and I develop a P&P guide for our district, This is a great idea so all the schools are on the same page, but of course we have not been given any time to do this during our work day. I would really appreciate it (if you have a minute, I know we are all busy), if any of you could please attach a copy of your P&P guides, (if they are available digitally) that we can use to help us get started. We are going to work on it this Summer as we can, (I'm having a knee replacement so I should have time since I won't be able to do too much), hopefully we'll have it done by the beginning of next school year. Thanks in advance.

Your "state" department of state health services may have some useful information regarding school health.
For example here is the Texas DSHS link https://www.dshs.texas.gov/texas-school-health
I found policies on there from an ISD in Texas that could be useful in creating yours.

These are Texas TEA guidelines for establishing policies for sending students home. Try checking your ISD's specific board policies. Many boards adopt policies written by the state's education agency. You can also search the education agency's policy website for specific topics (I.e. Texas has specific policies for diabetic care, and epilepsy care at school.) Hope this helps you get started.

Thank you all for the resources. Sometimes just finding a jumping off point is the hardest part.

Resources to help you develop school specific guidelines based our your states regulations. Start with Diabetes, Asthma and Seizures as starting point since life threatening conditions, add on monthly to get to fuller guidelines and not be overwhelmed..
Good luck with this project.
