No, it is not. You are rightly thinking like nurses. I feel that I am more realistic in my POV.

"Joy ride" exactly

"That pig is going to need a lot more lipstick..."

Well that is telling

Yeah...I bet you feel like I just called the IMPOTUS a pig. The pig needing lipstick is the concept that it doesn't matter if the orders coming from the IMPOTUS are sound or safe.

You may "feel" anyway you want.  It's not OK for the occupant of the white house to conduct himself in reckless and dangerous ways that put himself or others at risk for no good reason.

I saw the response and quoted, the site automatically merged it.

I’m sorry we can’t all be pondering topics of deeper import, like whether nurses should date doctors and the continuing ED habits of our coworkers. Shallow, I know, to be concerned about infection spread, unnecessary risk, and people being put at risk for political gain during a pandemic.

And you should be, because you are a nurse and an advocate.

Ahh, you are following my questions. I'm flattered. I will never feel embarrassed or regret ANY of my questions or answers. Forums hopefully appreciate different point of views that is the beauty of a forum.

Who said they would loose their job. The secret service can refuse and tell the president no.

Who tells a 'bully' no and gets away with it?

You can now add "horseface" to the list of insults President Donald Trump has hurled at women publicly, which also includes "fat pigs," "slobs," and "dogs," to name a few.

To londonflo.

Some don't think so. Some people may find a bully likeable. It happens

Weak? Small? I don't think of the service like that. Sure I said some do stupid things but they are hardly weak and small.

Women. You are projecting. Sure he is a jerk around women, but hey many men are. That is the sad reality

And combined with his lack of veracity (or not a combination -- just his problem with the truth) -- I don't associate with bullies or name-calling jerks --  I am sorry that you feel you connect with jerky men.

This adds to his appeal as a  leader of  this country?  He has lied since before he was a teenager - his parents sent him to a military school and were thrilled when he was out of the house. He has overdrawn every bank and not paid his loans back and he still thinks he can lead our economy. While he calls others losers, he typifies one himself. He has lost marriages, family, businesses. Who loses money in the casino business?

And you can choose to accept it with a ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ or you can work to denormalize it.

I’ve replied in several of your threads and they stand out as being overly concerned with the minutiae of others’ lives. But a person with significant influence and power who is making choices that are harming others is just the way it is. Often focusing on the small, unimportant things and ignoring matters of import and large impact reflects a big sense of disempowerment.

Aside from the people he is putting at direct risk, his misleadership, denial of the seriousness of the pandemic and publicly flouting safety and prevention measures makes all of us less safe and is increasing the severity and human cost of the pandemic.

Those are only some of the things that he has said in public or on the record.  Imagine his "private" language.

How many NDAs exist in Trump's orbit right now? Is it illegal to withhold information about a contagious disease from the public during a public health emergency?

Sigh! Many you have this idea that it is impossible for them to willingly volunteer for such a task and that is the problem. People put the military on pedestals as if they are Gods. I'm telling you that many are respectable, but some do stupid things even higher ups and Trump is the perfect vehicle for that. Hate him, but he is known for a being a playboy him being old isn't going to change that. As for their family. I'm sure they love their family a  lot, but men around men do stupid things. the wife and kids at home at the second is not on their mind. You may not want to hear that, but it is true for some.

I wouldn't be surprised that Trump left his hospital room and started hobnobbing with the secret service as if he was one of the guys. He had to be bored without his usual attention.  Some on detail likely went along as a "job", but some likely enjoyed it because he is Trump.

There are nurses who somehow find the A-hole patient charming, while some just smile and get out when they are done.

Quoted in its entirety because your entire premise here is based on nothing but scenarios you’ve imagined and fabricated.

that’s not logic. Nor is it critical thinking.

October 10th   Presidential Update from Dr. Conely--

PCR standards no longer transmission risk to others   interpreted by President full speed ahead to resume daily rallies.

Why add "fever free for well over 24 hrs"  -- infers he was having fevers post hospital discharge., concerning.  "All symptoms improved" --   interpreted as symptoms ongoing,  not resolved?

Still at risk to  relapse and pick up secondary infection as overly stressing himself with rallies rather than resting to regain strength.

Makes one wonder if he would have tested positive before the debate on the 29th had he actually shown up for testing.

Nah...bullies are pretty universally unlikable. That's the normal. Yes, atypical group and individual behavior occurs. A healthy society attempts to correct that, not elevate it with a shrug of the shoulders.

Abuse of power is a form of bullying. Everyone knows this right?

Please, not the "many are" defense.  Wrong is wrong for pity sake.
