Wow. No one has started such a thread yet?
After promising that most K-8 students would be in schools in the first 100 days, apparently Joe is afraid to lead on this and has drastically scaled back that goal.
Instead, we're shooting for about half to go to school at least one day a week, by the end of April.

OMG. She's as dumb as a box of rocks. I'm glad that she finally did it but it was only because Leslie Stahl embarrassed her so badly in real time on 60 Minutes. And then she actually goes there and insults the public school model. The charter schools in Detroit aren't performing any better.

It seems as though your viewpoint is that your default opinion is that everything Biden does will be bad. To say that, for example, Biden is "afraid of teacher's unions" or that "Biden wants open borders" can't provide a basis for discussion, because they aren't statements of fact, but partisan hyperbole.
I'm sure that as time goes on there will be more to talk about on your thread, and I appreciate the fact that you did start this thread and have every right to call out the off-topic, but it could be at least part of your impression is caused by the reality that President Biden's time is neccesarily devoted to cleaning up the mess left by the prior administration.
It's also true that doing actual work means less visibiltiy than we were used to seeing with Donald Trump, but my contention would be that working hard to deliver results instead of crowing about non-existent results, meeting with your cabinet secretaries and actually listening to them instead of insulting them on Twitter, and letting the experts handle investigations instead of publicly stewing about how they are untrustworthy and out to get you isn't actually doing your job.
I've seen that some reporters who thoroughly understood how dangerous he was admit to a certain nostalgia for the sheer trainwreck entertainment aspect of Trump. It's going to take a while to get used to a president who isn't busting out with dysfunctional behavior and addicted to fatuous praise.

Honestly, an entire political party and their voting base haven't seemed to realize that Trump is a corrupt liar who enjoys the politics of a despot or dictator. Millions of Americans believe that the dangerous Trumpublican nonsense is normal. This isn't going to change in the near future when we have elected members of Congress spreading lies and racist tropes from their positions of authority with zero concern for accountability. Yeah it's a problem when the white guys start telling us that lynching and vigilante justice are something to exalt while they insist that Trump isn't a racist and neither are they.
Kavanagh's debts suddenly disappeared very quickly!
So not only is it very curious re how he managed to do this but coupled with the drinking, misogyny and the character flaws of accruing so much debt AND BEING A SUPREME COURT JUDGE?
Just how compromised is he?

All I know is that during the hearings at 5:00 pm he got very, very cranky and I told my husband that guy needs a drink right now! Hell, I needed a drink just watching this awful, awful person about to become a judge for anything outside of dog court.

Nope. He has a known stuttering issue, and I’m sure every single one of us has missed a word in a speech before. A misspoken sentence does not equal a transfer of power

Perhaps your question reveals that you find these things concerning. I'm interested in hearing more about this new found concern with presidential capacities.

I thought the same thing. His emotional rant was suggestive that the fellow is a long term drinker. That was disqualifying in and if itself. IMV
