Pearson Vue Trick 2015 Latest

Updated:   Published

Hi Everyone,

First, I just want to thank everyone that comes to this website to share his or her experience. This website literally keeps people alive and going during some tough times. You might not know it, but there are tens of people out there that quote this website each day.

My journey with the Nclex-RN in California started on the 2th of December. I took the Nclex, I went home and tried the PVT, and it gave me the good pop-up. 24 hours and 4 days later, I was still getting the good pop-up. A week passed and no result or license, I was anxious to say the least, as some of my classmates got their license within 48 - 72 hours after taking the exam.

I always came to this website to get some courage as the weeks rolled by. Finally on 31st of December, I got my license. The long wait was over.

My main reason of writing today is that through my experience, I found out that the pearson vue trick is not a trick. It is the way the computer is programmed. If one fails the Nclex, it will take your money or decline your card accordingly (for insufficient funds or being invalid). The so called trick works perfectly.

Secondly, If you live in California, and you get the good pop-up after 24 hours of taking the Nclex, you passed. The waiting time has to do with the BRN taking so much time to process files. Keep strong and keep faith, you will get your license.

You don't mind waiting. Good for you. The anxiety it causes some people is real. You don't understand? Since when do we as nurses need to understand to support people? Nice therapeutic communication. By nice I mean not so nice. Work on it.

Just wanted to share my experience with the new trick:

Took the NCLEX in TX on Jan 15th. Got cut off at 75 questions and I felt similar to how you feel when you have a dream about slipping backwards and waking up from the jolt. I honestly did not know what to think since it felt hard, about 1/2 SATA, 1/5 medications I didn't recognize, and a lot of priority questions out of 4 unstable clients. Got 1 question on drag and drop ordering that had 7 steps. 3 calculation questions that used the DosexWeightXTime /Concentration formula.

I immediately tried this new trick with a card that had money but did not input the correct expiration date. The wait was already getting to me because I felt that if I didn't pass, I was wasting time waiting but at the same time, if I did pass, I did not want to study needlessly. Got the good pop an hour after the test and checked it pretty much every hour or two to see if it stayed the same for the first day. Now 48 hrs later I got my quick result and it says I passed.

I am not saying the trick is fool proof, just that the trick did work for me. Something I read helped me calm down a bit during the second 24 hrs: Basically even if an RN that took the NCLEX a few years ago tries to register, they still, to this day, get the good pop up. I figured this is why the "trick" usually is a decent predictor to alerting you if you pass or fail. Of course there are some exceptions. I believe a previous post linked to another that talked about the 2nd review.

Congratulations Aikaser! The trick is accurate with few expections. I got the good message with a real CC minus a correct expiration. A class mate that took the test same day and time (we went together) did the same thing and it attempted to charge his CC, but of course he received a message about an incorrect exp date. Turns out I passed and he did not. In my small sampling it was perfectly accurate. In large online samplings it's been almost always right. I have a large group of classmates taking it over the next few days. We'll see what happens with them. Either way it's worth trying since using an incorrect exp date removes the chance of your card being charged.

Well considering I am diagnosed with anxiety & have been on medication for it but was able to go the 2 full days until I could pay for the results; what does that tell you?

It tells me that you're you. He's a little quiz for you from nursing psych. What is it called when someone places their perceptions and feelings into someone else? Surely since you feel and perceive waiting for results in your way, everyone else that doesn't must be crazy, right?

Hey everyone,

So I took my test yesterday (it cut off at 75 questions) and finished at approximately 1300. I have done the PVT test several times and did it again just now (it has been about 27 hours). Still getting the good pop up. Can I trust it?

Used to be society taught people that they had to learn to put their own anxiety aside sometimes because it can't be allowed to rule everything. These days.....not so much.

Oh really? Where is the harmed third party being affected by someone's need to know their results sooner? What society was that and can you be more specific how that was taught? How exactly is finding a results trick that is effective to learn results quicker "ruling everything"? Even if a person has zero anxiety about waiting for official results, they'd use this tool. Why does it bother some of you so? Was it not available to you back when you took the exam, and you feel cheated? Did you not know about it? I suspect it comes from some sort of false superiority that is cancer in this profession.

okay....maybe this will help somewhat..I will def. Post update when I recieve official results, but for now I tried the PVT and thus far I recd the good pop up and didn't have $200 on my card! None the less, my worry is that it is indicating that I passed and maybe I didn't?! I have paid for the quick results although I want to know NOW!!! To each their own, but inwould gladly pay 200 bucks , and at the very least chance paying it just to be out of my agony of suspense! This is my second go around and I would just be shocked if i truly passed bc my test turned off at 92 or 94 questions,,, and I just wasn't holding my breath until I seen that I got the "good" pop up.. now I'm wondering if i foolishly think there is a chance I passed if I didn't?! why doesn't anyone ever talk about people that received the good pop up and then failed??? I hear a lot of back and forth w/the PVT, but not once have I heard of that happening?! Uuugh, this anticipation is too much! I did wna ask nursecali why there seems to be a little reliability or confidence in people that hv checked after 24hrs. And still hv the same response, why would that hv any bearing? Also I took the Nclex PN, would that make a difference?

it is just so hard because every single thing I read on here has to do with people worrying that they passed if it shows that they failed, however I am worried about right the opposite, its saying that I passed all the while im worried of possibly failing..How humiliating would that be??! I will def. Give an uodate on saturday when quick results post, but ANY feedback is appreciated " )

1. You state you paid for quick results. These are accurate for pass/fail. But not a guarantee of RN/LPN licensing status as only the BoN issues licenses. If QR says pass, you definitely passed the NCLEX part of licensing as a nurse. If QR says fail you definitely failed.

2. LPN/NCLEX-PN is not a consolation prize not is it necessarily easier (many say NCLEX-PN is more difficult. Not all states will permit graduates of RN programs to apply for an LPN license. NY & NJ are two such states and I believe TX too. Only graduates of LPN programs can take the NCLEX-PN.

I don't feel superior than anyone. I don't understand resting all one's hope on a trick, especially a potentially expensive trick. That is all.

I don't want to sound like an ***... I don't understand some of these post... if it does not directly effect you, who cares? Nursing students are going to be nursing students...

Took the NCLEX RN this morning. Waited a few hours and tried the trick, I got the good Pop up. Now to wait and see if I did indeed pass. I will post here when I know
