Pearson Vue Trick 2015 Latest

Updated:   Published

Hi Everyone,

First, I just want to thank everyone that comes to this website to share his or her experience. This website literally keeps people alive and going during some tough times. You might not know it, but there are tens of people out there that quote this website each day.

My journey with the Nclex-RN in California started on the 2th of December. I took the Nclex, I went home and tried the PVT, and it gave me the good pop-up. 24 hours and 4 days later, I was still getting the good pop-up. A week passed and no result or license, I was anxious to say the least, as some of my classmates got their license within 48 - 72 hours after taking the exam.

I always came to this website to get some courage as the weeks rolled by. Finally on 31st of December, I got my license. The long wait was over.

My main reason of writing today is that through my experience, I found out that the pearson vue trick is not a trick. It is the way the computer is programmed. If one fails the Nclex, it will take your money or decline your card accordingly (for insufficient funds or being invalid). The so called trick works perfectly.

Secondly, If you live in California, and you get the good pop-up after 24 hours of taking the Nclex, you passed. The waiting time has to do with the BRN taking so much time to process files. Keep strong and keep faith, you will get your license.

I'm knew to all of this. I'm just starting out with pre-nursing and Pearson Vue has bungled my CNA certification. So, they are responsible for licensing nurses too? Oh great. Aren't all these private for profit corporations wonderful. They will take your money and good luck if they do right by you.

Not sure what you mean by all this....Pearson Vue is a national chain of testing centers. They license no one, but administer MANY TYPES of exams in various professions, including nursing.

Your State BoN is responsible for granting you a license; CNA certification is often provided by your Department of Health, although sometimes it's the BoN for that too.

Not sure what your problem was....but.....good luck.

Ok thank you runnerRn2015

I took the test today. I tried the trick using an incorrect expiration date with my CC. I received the "good" message when I hit submit. It appears I got the response I wanted without the chance of being charged $200. Very good indeed.

rn2b2015: Did you get ur quick results yet? I am in New York and thanks for putting up the issue of putting the wrong card exp date. I took the exam this morning and it is now over 8 hours later and the same message as you pointed out. I will pray and hope for the best.

Jonny: What state are u in?

Lauran: UTAH

Okay....Maybe this will help somewhat..I will def. Post update when I receive official results, but for now I tried the pvt and thus far I recd the good pop up and didn't have $200 on my card! None the less, my worry is that it is indicating that I passed and maybe I didn't?! I have paid for the quick results although I want to know now!!! To each their own, but in would gladly pay 200 bucks , and at the very least chance paying it just to be out of my agony of suspense! This is my second go around and I would just be shocked if I truly passed bc my test turned off at 92 or 94 questions,,, and I just wasn't holding my breath until I seen that I got the "Good" pop up.. Now I'm wondering if I foolishly think there is a chance I passed if I didn't?! Why doesn't anyone ever talk about people that received the good pop up and then failed??? I hear a lot of back and forth w/the pvt, but not once have I heard of that happening?! Uuugh, this anticipation is too much! I did wna ask nursecali why there seems to be a little reliability or confidence in people that hv checked after 24hrs. And still hv the same response, why would that hv any bearing? Also I took the NCLEX PN, would that make a difference?

It is just so hard because every single thing I read on here has to do with people worrying that they passed if it shows that they failed, however I am worried about right the opposite, its saying that I passed all the while I'm worried of possibly failing..How humiliating would that be??! I will def. Give an update on Saturday when quick results post, but any feedback is appreciated " )

If you'd throw away $200 on unreliable "results", you wanna send some money my way then? I have a kid & throwing away $200 isn't something I could fathom doing.

Seriously. An extra $200 would be very welcome around my domicile as well. I'll PM my address to anyone willing to throw money around.

I'm confused....you say you have paid for quick results so why are you questioning the trick? If you paid $7.95 for quick results, those results are accurate. If QR says PASS then you passed. If it says FAIL, you've failed. If you've only attempted the trick, then you need to wait 24 hours for accuracy. Seriously....I don't understand why waiting 48 hours for QR is so difficult!
