I took my NCLEX this morning around 8am. Got done around 10am. Got an email 2:40pm from the Wisconsin Department License saying "COngratulations: Your license has been approved." I check and saw that I'm listed on the license. So i'm still not sure what to think.

How is it that you are not sure what to think??

You're a nurse. Congrats! ?

Just saw my name on BON website....yeah!!!

I don't believe the "scored second time around 24 hours" is true. Here in Florida, you usually have a license number issued to you by the 24 hour mark. Especially if you took it early in the AM that previous day.

Ex. Taken at 8am on Tuesday, license was posted by 6am Wednesday....so less than 24. I think NOBODY can say when the second scoring actually does occur.

Scored within 24 hours it may be one it may be 24 but the second scoring is always completed by the 24 hour mark. Hence why you had a license in 22 hours, which most definitely is within 25 hours.

If I don't believe grass is green.....does that make me correct? No?.....well.....

Maybe I should go this way:

OMG, Felicia, you are SO right! Why, Florida is entirely different than the rest of the country when it comes to NCLEX! What you believe most definitely trumps everything that the NCSBN (who designs and produces the NCLEX) has to say about it!

Ok, now seriously: Back to the facts.

Each and every NCLEX IS put through a QA/QI review AT SOME POINT during the 24 hours following the exam's completion. This has been said repeatedly, all over these forums. OBVIOUSLY no one knows precisely at what point the review will occur, nor is it in the least bit relevant. The POINT of using a 24-hour mark as a guide when playing with the PVT is because that is the longest period of time it will take. If results are concluded at the 15 hour mark, 20 hour mark, or 23 hour mark, then that is when the results will be transmitted to the State BoN that is receiving them.

One person may have results at the Florida BoN at Hour 18. Another not until Hour 23.5.

Do you understand this better now?

What about those from Wisconsin that receiver their (issued)licenses in 15 hours or 12 hours? Does that mean their licenses are not valid....

NEVER SAY NEVER OR ALWAYS...

Wait a minute.....did you just talk down to me? I don't take that. These others may but I'm not the one. I'm done with you! I was not even rude.....

I DID find you rude. I found your assertion that other people who have been discussing this at length, with considerable knowledge, to have no idea what they are talking about rude. I found your statement of disbelief to be rude.....so yes, I responded in kind.

I'm ok if you're done with me, if that's going to be how you respond to people who are only trying to help those who are seeking it.

Make yourself really useful and help me delete my account. I hate this place. I don't understand why I bothered to come here for help or encouragement. Especially with people like you just being hateful and rude.

Um I didn't find the other comment to be rude. I find you RNsRWe to be rude. Who makes you an expert? I have done my research on this topic as well. Everyone has different experiences with retrieving their results and can be very encouraging to others. Yes, they score it twice. But really come on, does the score change more often then not the second time around?
