  1. Oh really? Where is the harmed third party being affected by someone's need to know their results sooner? What society was that and can you be more specific how that was taught? How exactly is finding a results trick that is effective to learn results quicker "ruling everything"? Even if a person has zero anxiety about waiting for official results, they'd use this tool. Why does it bother some of you so? Was it not available to you back when you took the exam, and you feel cheated? Did you not know about it? I suspect it comes from some sort of false superiority that is cancer in this profession.
  2. It tells me that you're you. He's a little quiz for you from nursing psych. What is it called when someone places their perceptions and feelings into someone else? Surely since you feel and perceive waiting for results in your way, everyone else that doesn't must be crazy, right?
  3. Congratulations Aikaser! The trick is accurate with few expections. I got the good message with a real CC minus a correct expiration. A class mate that took the test same day and time (we went together) did the same thing and it attempted to charge his CC, but of course he received a message about an incorrect exp date. Turns out I passed and he did not. In my small sampling it was perfectly accurate. In large online samplings it's been almost always right. I have a large group of classmates taking it over the next few days. We'll see what happens with them. Either way it's worth trying since using an incorrect exp date removes the chance of your card being charged.
  4. You don't mind waiting. Good for you. The anxiety it causes some people is real. You don't understand? Since when do we as nurses need to understand to support people? Nice therapeutic communication. By nice I mean not so nice. Work on it.
  5. So my question is how are questions rated as far as their difficulty? Is it a group that decides how hard a question is, or is difficulty established by how often the question is answered correctly/incorrectly in it's trial run to be included in the NCLEX. From all the prep I did for NCLEX and tests in nursing school (all NCLEX style), the "pros" all said SATAs are the most often missed questions.
  6. In my experience with most instructors, she won't know. It's likely a mistake.
  7. I don't buy it. I know what NCLEX says, but if you are getting loads of SATA's and the test stops at 75 questions, you're going to be in pretty good shape in the end.
  8. My center didn't have vending machines. Bring a healthy brain snack. You can take a break whenever you want, but the time keeps ticking. There is a scheduled break at 2.5 hrs that you don't have to take. You have 6 hrs to finish, period, don't waste too much time on breaks. Oh, and if you have your cell, they just bag it up.
  9. I took the test today. I tried the trick using an incorrect expiration date with my CC. I received the "good" message when I hit submit. It appears I got the response I wanted without the chance of being charged $200. Very good indeed.
