  1. i really feel for those that are in programs that require a MINIMUM to move forward, even graduate. i FAILED EVERY SINGLE HESI exam and still managed to pass the NCLEX-RN in 75 questions. all the HESI did was ruin my nursing school GPA. i believe that some nursing programs only breed test takers as opposed to competent/skilled nurses. i understand the book knowledge required for critical thinking”/nursing judgment scenarios… but the how sad is it that my school failed to find us a clinical placement until mid/end of the semester, but made damn sure we took the EXIT HESI twice. i sympathize with you. but it is what it is... i had to do it. cowboy up. PS: to the elitists in here, i would gotten a 4.0. 89.9% is still a B. thanks HESI.
  2. i'm not bright, by any means. after shutting off at #75, i felt like i passed. usually, this level of confidence means FAILED. as this isn't the first time i felt great about an exam. think i might had been "over-prepared" with 4 months of studying. i made a thread about it, if you're interested in reading.
  3. somewhere in the hurst review it states minimum of "85" out of 125... it's time to test. good luck.
  4. i read i have to wait 24 hours at least... i did it around midnight. not a day, but i will try again in a couple of hours. i am doing this while using a different expiration date.
  5. I don't want to sound like an ***... I don't understand some of these post... if it does not directly effect you, who cares? Nursing students are going to be nursing students...
  6. i took it today.. i got so many random management topics and some questions were not even relevant to patient care. i thought i was going to fail because half my test was content. the medication questions were along the lines of "i never heard of these names IN SCHOOL" let alone any review. also, they gave me multiple choice questions like that. which to go first? i laughed at some of them because i was like are you ******* kidding me? i have no clue what this is. i must've of guessed well. i did the PVT trick and got the good pop up. though people still fail. all i can say is, i knew WITHOUT A DOUBT half of the answers to some of the questions. my notes did me well! i was almost certain i passed when i walked out of the center after #75.
  7. got done in 75 questions. it was simpler than i thought. probably failed. i will update with the obligatory "THIS IS HOW I PASSED NCLEX" thread when my results post
  8. taking my nclex tomorrow. -driver license -water/electrolyes -a sweater -money for the vending machine what else?
