Pearson Vue Trick 2015 Latest

Nursing Students NCLEX

Updated:   Published

Hi Everyone,

First, I just want to thank everyone that comes to this website to share his or her experience. This website literally keeps people alive and going during some tough times. You might not know it, but there are tens of people out there that quote this website each day.

My journey with the Nclex-RN in California started on the 2th of December. I took the Nclex, I went home and tried the PVT, and it gave me the good pop-up. 24 hours and 4 days later, I was still getting the good pop-up. A week passed and no result or license, I was anxious to say the least, as some of my classmates got their license within 48 - 72 hours after taking the exam.

I always came to this website to get some courage as the weeks rolled by. Finally on 31st of December, I got my license. The long wait was over.

My main reason of writing today is that through my experience, I found out that the pearson vue trick is not a trick. It is the way the computer is programmed. If one fails the Nclex, it will take your money or decline your card accordingly (for insufficient funds or being invalid). The so called trick works perfectly.

Secondly, If you live in California, and you get the good pop-up after 24 hours of taking the Nclex, you passed. The waiting time has to do with the BRN taking so much time to process files. Keep strong and keep faith, you will get your license.

Look, I'm not going to dig up these posts for you.....don't believe they are there? Fine. Doesn't matter to me. In fact.....here ya go: you're totally right. No one, not one person ever, has EVER had any problem with the PVT being incorrect. No one, not ever, has had a glitch with the software. No one, not ever, has been charged for a registration they later found out they did not need, as their "fail" became a "pass". Nope, never happened.

You are 100% on the mark, no one can tell you anything you do not already know. :sarcastic:

Better? Ok. You win ;)

When I finally bridge & take my NCLEX, I'd much rather wait the two days & pay the fee. It seems so much cheaper than gambling $200. Haha!

Have never understood why anyone puts any mental energy into this "trick" over official notification from their Board of Nursing. Silly.

I do believe you'd be just fine if you wait the full 24 hours.....the problem comes in when it's tried too early, as in right after the test is done, and THEN you DO risk the loss (no matter what the OP says on the subject, I DO know this to be true).

Wait a full 24 hours before handing over your credit card info and you'll be good. In THAT case, I haven't yet come across anyone who has lost their $. But doing it as the OP suggests, within hours of the test? You betcha.

Ain't that the truth! But much like babies will reach for shiny things, test-takers will reach for any clue that tells them how they did, to ease anxiety ?

If you enter an incorrect expiration date you can submit and still get "good pop up" I did it today. I don't know the accuracy but after talking with many people they say it doesn't work because "it allowed them go get to the credit card page" Pearson updated their site in 2014 so that everyone can enter their cc info, you have to click submit payment. I read if you failed you won't get pop up and then you get "credit info incorrect". I'll update if I really passed

Were you not anxious after taking boards? No one said it's better than the official but for some people it gives peace of mind...

I was anxious after taking my boards but I would rather have 100% certain proof that I passed the NCLEX. The PVT doesn't tell you that because all it is, is a trick.

What is a good pop up

Just wanted to share this experience. My state board does not participate in Quick Results so immediately after taking the exam I was impatient to wait for the results and tried this trick.

Not knowing the forum or any updates on the website my cc was charged $200. A new registration was acknowledged by NCSBN. With few inquireies with Pearson live chat and NCSBN learned that fees were non refundable.

The agony is waiting for the results while having this open registration. It is recommended for candidates to check the official results.

Quick results (if available in your state) is worth the wait to know for certain. Even getting the good pop up, I still didn't tell anybody until I saw PASS after paying for QR. It's only 48 hours -- everyone will survive the wait.

Search allnurses or google "NCLEX PVT" -- you'll get plenty of information.
