Meaning of your username?

Hey ya'll!

I am new to allnurses and just was curious what everyones usernames mean. I know there are previous thread for this but I figured there have been some username changes and new members since then.

As you can see my username is Flightless and its just short for flightless bird AKA penguin which are my favorite animal lol I had a hard time trying to pick a username that was unique but didn't give me away! Haha!

So lets hear it!

Always the forgotten ones, the low brass. We had feelings too, just like the flutes or those pesky, cocky trumpet players!

I'm a flute and I love low brass. My younger son plays Baritone. Older son plays every sax imaginable.

Low brass fills up your soul. :blink:

Gee, after reading about some of meanings and creativity here, I feel kind of lame.

Fellow lame person here--my username comes from the prefix to my Hotmail account (now defunct) circa 1997.

I think it's one of the easier ones...Nurses are more fun... and it was at a time when fun seemed important, I guess. Now I think rest is more important. I'm getting old. LOL Actually, I think I may have used the same username on AOL.

Part of the pen name I had for myself when I was a child and dreamed of being a writer! But I guess I do most of my writing on here and no longer have the desire to be an author. My dream job now would be a hybrid gardener/landscaper and interior decorator! Nursing is my day job to pay the bills!

My username is in honor of my cat, Poppy, who is 12 years old today. I adopted her when she was 10 weeks old & she's grown into a semi-grumpy old lady. Our purrsonalities are very similar. (See what I did there?)
